John,
The phone rang yesterday afternoon when Larry and I were playing our board games but they
didn’t leave a message. My dad looked on the call display at the “missed calls” after Larry left
to find out that it was Kris who called. And then Kris called us again yesterday after supper. I
talked to him briefly and then he wanted to talk to my dad and let him know that his grandpa,
Don Dabay, is now in critical care. I don’t know if he’ll live much longer seeing how he’s had
leukemia for a long time so my dad told Kris to give his grandma our best wishes. And then my
dad said to Kris that he’ll try to call his grandma himself sometime. And Kris also told my dad
last night that Telus cut off his internet, he doesn’t know why they cut him off so he phoned
them up and they’ll be giving him a free month.
Now even if I myself didn’t find it hard to forgive, I still think that Carol will never
forgive me for what happened though I think also that she should do the right thing and forgive.
And unless I get a permanent relationship after a couple of letters and Carol sees me again on
every Sunday, then if she just sends me a letter and then I still have to move on I cannot be
certain if she really means what she says when she writes to me how she feels.
You also said in your E-mail response:

It is not just realtors...I know that realtors are not suppose to tell Carol to come back to
work with me nor is it in their job description, but I would’ve asked anyone that I know who
knows Carol if I ever run into one of them. And I still don’t want Todd Antifaev to be the one
who lists Muriel’s house if she does decide to sell anytime soon.
Now I didn’t sleep good on the night before yesterday, I was awake from 6:30 until 9:30AM and
I don’t know how many times I had to get up and go pee during those three hours. I had a messy
toot at one of the many times I had to get up during which and it got the inside of my pajama
bottoms dirty so I had to put on my spare pair and then my mom washed the first pair yesterday
for last night. And when I did finally manage to fall back asleep, I only slept for an hour
before I woke up to my alarm and I had to get up.
And then I woke up at 8:30 this morning to hear the Koreans next door having their furniture
delivered. Not long after, I heard a loud noise start up in another one of the yards out front
and it kind of sounded like a lawnmower but I didn’t really know what it was. My mom let me come
into her bedroom so that I could sleep some more, but not long after I went in there somebody in
one of the yards back there turned on their weedwhacker.
My mom met our new Korean neighbours two nights ago on Monday evening speaking about whom and
when the wife introduced herself, my mom thought that she pronounced her name something like
Mayang. And then my dad stayed and chatted with her after my mom went back inside the house when
she was telling him that they lived in Fleetwood for a short time before they moved to South
Surrey and she said she likes it better here because it got so hot up there.
My dad left his Subaru for a short time today at the “Broco Auto Glass Group” not far from
where he works while they replaced his windshield. They gave him an older Toyota Corolla for a
courtesy car in which the gaslight was on so my dad hopes that he’ll have enough gas to drive it
back to the dealership from his office when his car is ready. And my dad also told
my mom today when he phoned home at lunch that he’s bringing me home
a free catfish to
put in one of the aquariums. One of the guys at work brought it in and gave it to my dad because
it was the only fish left in his tank.
And please no heavy discussions tomorrow.
-Neil
