I just won $5 on a GOLDRUSH scratch-and-win. Did you get the E-mail I sent you yesterday
afternoon titled
“My latest news” to
which a map was attached of the walk that I did with Larry at the Watershed Park just last
Tuesday? And I hope that I’ll finally take Larry to Campbell Valley Park on this coming Tuesday
in just three days.
Here are two stories my mom told me about that were in today’s Peace Arch newspaper. Number
one story, remember I told you in
the E-mail I sent you almost a year ago on
Sunday July 27th 2008 that they’re going to open a Fatburger in
South Surrey? Well, it opens on Wednesday June the 10th at 152nd Street and 17th Avenue in the
former site of Wendy's. Number two story in the Peace Arch, the one about Michael Doan and his
younger brother, Evan, who will embark on a month-long bike ride from Vancouver to Mexico in
hopes of raising awareness about leukemia. Michael was in my class in grade seven when I went to
school at Bayridge Elementary, I could show you his story when you’re here tomorrow. And Michael
also had an older brother who was going into medicine.
