John,

My dad finally called my grandparents last night and Monday’s good for them. You asked me again when you saw me two days ago if anything had been bugging me within the last little bit, you yourself thought that probably nothing has been bugging me lately the way my E-mails have been so positive and because I’m now starting to do a few more things again that I haven’t done since before Christmas. And you already asked me the same question when you were here on Thursday Apr.25,2008, if anything had been bugging me within the last little bit. I wrote to you after the first time you asked me on that date about one thing that is bugging me, that I’m worried if I have to move out. Seeing how our next meeting with FVMH is a week today, I’ve been working on a long E-mail explaining to you my thoughts about moving out and I’ll try and get it to you this week even though I’m not in any rush.

I will write about some things today however now that my cousin, Jenny, phoned my mom today at lunch, she said that those two kids have now moved in with Judy and that she’s (Jenny’s) sleeping on a couch in Judy’s room for now. If just somehow it happens that I end up living with Carol, I of course plan for us to sleep in separate bedrooms. At least I know that Carol can do better than this and that she wouldn’t make me sleep outside in a shed. I remember you said to me one time not long after our last meeting with FVMH that “there’s lots of Carols out there,” but I think the Carol I know is the perfect candidate to be a caretaker. I wonder if the type of workshop such as that one you took last month might’ve helped her to become a better caretaker. Or the course that you said you took at Capilano College many years ago, I don’t remember whether you told me it was the “Non Violent Crisis Intervention” course or the “Psychological Emergencies & Crisis Intervention” course. And again I think that Carol’s making the wrong decision to want her own life once she’s able to retire, I think that Carol would be a good caretaker and I’ll also say again that I think she’s the right person to be a caretaker. I don’t think it’s right that Carol won’t take me if she’ll put up with Pete for as long as she has to even if he still can’t afford to move out right after she retires from her school job, she just can’t let this happen to me and she can’t let me move in with a family or with any people who I never met before even though my mom said that I could meet the people who I’ll be living with and get to know them for a while before I move in with them and that she (my mom), my dad, and you will come around lots to help me once I do move in with them. Enough said about that stuff for today and again I’ll try to get the longer message ready for you sometime later this week, and Jenny also told my mom when she called today that she hopes to go with her boyfriend, Danny, to the Cloverdale Rodeo this weekend

I got out yesterday afternoon with my mom to the Save-On at South Point. We had planned to get two donuts before leaving Save-On and after we did our other shopping there, but there wasn’t a lot left to choose from yesterday afternoon. I told you that we noticed last time when I was there with my mom that the only two kinds of donuts they had from what we could see and that I would like were the chocolate iced long john and the standard round white glazed with hole in the center. Yesterday afternoon they just had two white glazed left and no long johns so we just got one donut, one of the two glazed ones that were left. We got home just in time for 2PM which is the time when I like to have my afternoon snack most days, I had the donut with my cranberry juice to drink. And I guess obviously that store’s dessert section was due for a shipment, I guess there’s no other way to know from day to day whether or not the grocery stores’ dessert sections are stocked up other than actually going out to the store and then finding out. I don’t know if you ever had a Save-On white glazed donut before, but I’ll tell you that I prefer Save-On’s white glazed donuts to Tim Hortons white glazed. We also saw in their dessert section yesterday big dark chocolate cookies with bits of chocolate instead of bits of white, they didn’t have these last time when I was there with my mom and I thought these might be worth a try if we see them there again sometime in the future. All they had to choose from last time for big cookies were Chocolate Chunk, oatmeal, and the dark chocolate ones with bits of white. And we saw that they now have the same big rack of the Lofthouse brand moist sugar cookies that I told you my mom saw a few weeks before at the Price Smart store in Semiahmoo Mall. The South Point store had all of the other same ones that my mom saw at Price Smart except they didn’t have the ones that I wanted to try most, the strawberry iced ones.

Now I will talk about my other snacks for the last few days:

• I finally had the first half of the other bottle of Lime Crush for my evening snack last Saturday (the 10th) with some Old Dutch Rip-L potato chips and Nalley brand "Bacon & Onion" dip. And it was in the message I sent you on Wednesday Feb.27,2008 when I first told you that I had two bottles of Lime Crush, I also told you that my mom had to dump the rest of the first one and again it was the second bottle that I had the first half of last Saturday evening. I didn’t fall asleep until 2AM that same night (Saturday night/Sunday morning), mom and I both had upset stomachs. I did have a good sleep that night once I fell asleep at 2AM and I didn’t get up until twenty minutes to noon on Sunday.

• Tuesday May 13,2008 - evening snack: I had the rest of the Cadbury Mini Eggs, now all of the Easter stuff is gone finally.

• And I plan to have Doritos again for my evening snack tonight.

Stuff that’s been happening on the news:

• You already know about the big earthquake last weekend in China that left thousands of people dead.

• My mom watched Adopt-A-Pet at the end of yesterday’s Noon News, she told me that they had on this Maine Coon cat named “Rapunzel” even though it was a male cat. They named it that because he has long hair, but my mom still thinks that it’s not a name for a guy. They also had on a beagle and two guinea pigs.

• Do you already know about the helicopter that crashed yesterday afternoon in a residential area of Cranbrook? Of the four people killed; two BC Hydro technicians, the pilot of the chopper, and a pedestrian who was in that residential neighbourhood at the time of the crash. And my dad told us today when he phoned home at lunch that he didn’t know either of the two Hydro guys who were killed.

• After my mom saw the weather on today’s Noon News, she told me that it’s suppose to clear up tomorrow and then Friday and Saturday are suppose to be the nicer days. I thought we could go to the Macs tomorrow and get two more chocolate bars, one to have for my snack and I’ll save the other one again for another day. This time though, I thought that maybe you and I could do the same big walk on our way to the store that I told you I took my mom on last week. We could take that trail first and then I’ll walk you by the two ranchers that I told you I saw for sale.

• You saw in the paper when you were here two days ago that Neil Young has had a new species of spider named after him. It was named after him because Neil Young is the favorite musician of the biologist who discovered the species, and he is yet another one of the artists who I like. I know that he’s 62 now and I know that he’s Canadian.

And I told you that you’d also get a repeat of what we got my mom for Mother’s Day. I got her the plastic dog that she could put outside on the lawn or in the garden which we bought at the Wal-Mart in Langley and then we went next door to the London Drugs in Langley where my dad got for her the EUREKA hand vac. My dad got the corded one with no batteries so that we won’t have to worry about charging it, and also my mom says that it ““has more power when it has a cord.” And then we’ll have another image to scan once the card I got for her at the London Drugs in Langley on that same day comes off the mantel, the card has a picture of a dog and a cat on the front of it. Also when we were in Wal-Mart on that day BTW, we got in line for the express checkout because we only got one item. I guess you haven’t seen these express checkouts after you told me that you never been inside the Langley Wal-Mart, but these checkouts have a voice that comes on the speaker and tells the next person in line which checkout to go to as soon as one comes free. When it was our turn for example, the voice on the speaker would say quote “please go to one” and a big red “number one” would light up on the screen at checkout #1.

Cat stories for the last few days:

• Saturday May 10,2008: Izzy sat under a bush outside in our backyard while it was raining and she got all wet. Later on this day, my mom opened the door to go out onto the deck and bring in my bathmat which she left on the deck rail to dry after she washed it. Chloe came outside in the rain when my mom had the deck door open to bring my mat inside which is unusual because Chloe almost never ventures out into the rain. Izzy’s the braver cat, she always wants out when it rains while most times when Chloe goes out when it’s raining she’ll just stay underneath the overhang.

• Saturday May 10,2008: At another time on the same day as the above point, my dad took a picture of Izzy who he saw on the roof of our deck. This wasn’t the first time my mom or I have seen her up there though it was the first time my dad saw her there.

• And Izzy kept coming in really wet after she’d been outisde lots of times both today and yesterday when it was raining lots, at one time after Izzy came in from outside my dad dried her off with the aquarium towel.

Last Sunday (May 11th), my dad put our fourth and last beta barracks on the ten gallon fish tank which is the one that’s above our five gallon and then he put the rest of the betas that he wanted to separate right now in small jars. He then put the jars on top of the fridge where Izzy can’t touch them. And my dad’s not sure yet but thinks that I might only have two females in my entire batch of baby betas. I might have more females but some of them you can’t tell whether they are males or females until they are bigger, my dad separated some of these ones anyway so that they won’t get beat up. The two bigger baby betas that my dad knows are females are both in the ten gallon right now.

When you were here two afternoons ago, my mom went out to Willowbrook to see if they had anything new since the last time she looked there at sandals for me. Everything she saw there that they didn’t have last time when she looked was all stuff that I wouldn’t like. She drove by Dairy Queen on her way home that day and she saw a sign when she drove by that says “try our new strawberry blizzard,” I don’t know if this would look so close to that some people might easily mistake it for your Cheesequake Blizzard but I know that this one doesn’t have the cheesecake in it which you know I don’t like. I think this would be more like the McDonald's strawberry shortcake McFlurry which also didn’t have cheesecake in it and I told you that I tried a strawberry shortcake McFlurry a few years ago when they had it on. And my dad stopped at the Semiahmoo Mall yesterday before coming home from work and after he dropped off everyone else in his carpool, he took my other watch into the battery place where he had them put the strap on it last Friday when I told you they put it on the wrong way. This time they fixed it and now I have two good watches.

I told my mom after you told me about the SandPiper Pub has lots of windows. After I said to her that it might be okay for me if we go there in the evenings when it’s darker, she then said that “it might still get kind of noisy seeing as how it’s a pub.”

Was it the dentist who you now see in South Surrey that you told me is involved with training new dentists at UBC? My dentist, Dr. Lee, is also involved with that and so is the dental surgeon who pulled my wisdom teeth. You told me that you don’t remember being put to sleep when they pulled your wisdom teeth. My mom since told me that not everyone has to be put to sleep because “some peoples’ wisdom teeth are harder to get out than others,” and both of my parents had to be put to sleep when they had their wisdom teeth pulled. The only other time I got put to sleep was when I had a cystoscopy done at the hospital. Do you know what a “cystoscopy” is? It’s when they checked out my urinary system with a camera, they didn’t find anything wrong.

Helen and Don Dabay are my friend, Kris’s, grandparents who he lived with when he was growing up and after his mom passed away. You found their names on our list of phone numbers in the computer room. And “MacDonald” is Carol’s married name, her maiden name is “Koshman.”

Speaking about Kris, you asked me if he’s moved yet. I thought I had written to you previously that he had already moved at the beginning of March. And you asked me if he’s had any housewarming parties yet, I’ll tell you that he hasn’t had any that he told me about but maybe you and I could go see his new place coming up soon. He works on weekdays so if you don’t mind taking a day from your weekend to go with me and see him, maybe I could see if he’ll be available either on next Saturday (the 24th) or on Sunday the 25th. Even though I already wrote to you about that we brought him a housewarming gift the last time he moved, my mom doesn’t think we need to get him one this time and she thinks that “he’ll just be happy if we come to see him” though I thought that maybe we could bring him some Krispy Kremes donuts for our snack that afternoon. My mom and I could go out and get the donuts earlier in the day before I go with you over to Kris’s. And I still plan to call my other friend, Mac, one day later this week.

And my mom thought it would be better than we take separate vehicles to our meeting next Wednesday morning at 10AM in Port Coquitlam incase she and my dad want to do anything after the meeting because my dad will have that day off work. I suggested to my mom that they could try that “Ruby Chinese Restaurant” for their lunch that day which I told you I wanted them to try before I decide whether or not I want to go there again, but she thought that it might be kind of early for lunch if we again don’t get out of our meeting any later than 10:45AM. I thought for you and my lunch that day, either we could go to the same Wendy's again on 152nd Street in Guildford that you and I went ate at a few months ago or we could go to the Dairy Queen on 152nd in Fleetwood and I could have a chicken strip basket. And who will I be riding with on the way over there that day? I said in the message that I sent you on Thursday Mar.13,2008 that even though I’m riding with my parents again now, I think it’s a good idea that you still go with us to our meetings because you work with me and understand some of the problems.

I don’t watch “The Simpsons,” it’s a show that not all people are fussy about. Mac watches it and so does Jenny though we don’t know if Jenny watches it as often as Mac does. And did you know that Sesame Street characters as well as many other Jim Henson characters made cameo appearances on “The Simpsons,” go here to learn about all of their appearances. BTW, did you check out the 13 Kermits yet?

Last night on “Dancing With the Stars” which I told you my mom watches, they had on some dance group who danced to Michael Jackson's “Thriller” which you and I watched on YouTube.

Another petition you thought I could put on my Facebook page once I get it going besides the one to get a Dairy Queen in the food court at Semiahmoo Mall, why not a petition to get a regular size A&W which you suggested now that you know I want one of these in South Surrey. And yet another idea for a petition, this one I thought of, how about the “I want to live with Carol” petition! I remember you said one petition that you’d start once you get your Facebook page going would be to ban Wal-Mart in South Surrey because you don’t like Wal-Mart. My dad doesn’t like Wal-Mart either though I told you that I like them better than Zellers because I already knew that some Zellers products are not made very good, but since the time when you and I recently discussed this my parents told me that “you gotta watch some of Wal-Mart’s products too” because even some of Wal-Mart’s things can be junky. And also when you and I discussed this, I remember you said something about you thought that somehow China is involved with Wal-Mart even though I know that they (Wal-Mart) are a U.S. business. After I told my parents this thought that you had, they then said to me that they think some Zellers products might also come from China. And I still wonder if Target will ever come to Canada and buy out Zellers. This store just has to come to Canada, you ever heard of Target dog!

And I told my dad about your mom’s black and white photographs that she would like to make bigger and then I asked him if he thought any clarity would be lost even if you make them just a tiny bit bigger once you scan them for her. My dad then said quote “it’s all trial and error.”

See you tomorrow at 1PM.

-Neil
