Subject: I've been feeling a bit off
Larry,
Would it be okay with you that we don’t do a car outing tomorrow? I was at John’s house
yesterday in the afternoon (you know that I’ve been going there lately on most Sundays to help
him walk his dogs) and this time something happened over there...I ended up not feeling well. I
went to use his bathroom but I was not able to urinate for some reason even though I felt like I
really had to go. He didn’t know if that happened because maybe I was worried about something or
maybe just because of the hot weather. I was able to go eventually though after I stood at the
toilet for quite a while and after I drank some different fluids at John’s house, and also my
stomach was upset yesterday afternoon on top of all that.
On another note, when we got halfway around John’s block yesterday afternoon while we walked
his dogs (before I wasn’t feeling well later back it his place), some lady pulled up in a van a
nd she stopped to ask John for directions because she was looking for an address on the portion
of 133A Street that’s in his neighbourhood. And when I heard her mention “133A Street,” I said
to John that’s the street I lived on when we use to live in Whalley and that I can still
remember now the way to our old house. Then John suggested that maybe one day him and I could
drive by my old house and then he’d take me by the house that isn’t far from there at which he
lived with his wife, Dianne, before they lived at where they are now for the last thirty
years.
