Larry,
I saw the story called “Canada's pinball wizard” on yesterday’s edition of Global National.
They said that Eden Stamn is “Canada’s top player.” And Eden’s dad was a Science teacher at
Semiahmoo Secondary when I was going to school there. I wasn’t in any of his Science classes but
on most days at lunch he sat at the same table where I sat with the rest of the kids that were
in BASES.
On the day before, on Thursday, my mom and dad couldn’t get our deck door in the family room
to close because it had come off its track so they had to phone up the store who installed it
ten years ago and have the service man come here yesterday morning to fix it. Now, can you
believe that my dad didn’t get an answer on Thursday after he got home when he tried to call the
phone number for, Euroline, the company that installed the doors. He called them again a little
while later, he got through that time and he left a message saying that it was urgent and we
needed them to come as soon as they’re available but no one returned my dad’s call so he ended
up phoning the number again yesterday
morning.
Also, my dad had to sleep downstairs on the family room couch on Thursday night because they
didn’t want anybody to come in seeing how they couldn’t close the door. He usually gets up at
6AM to get ready for work, but yesterday he slept through and didn’t wake up until 6:50 so he
had to phone everyone in his carpool to let them know he was going to be ten minutes late
picking them up.
And John came here in the morning when I saw him just two days ago instead of coming at his
usual afternoon time and he stayed here for lunch because my mom had a dentist appointment. She
told me after she came back that Dr. Lee, our dentist up in Fleetwood, was complaining because
it was so hot and he has air conditioning at his house but it couldn’t keep up.
Also when John was with me just two days ago on Thursday, he saw that the birdhouse in our
backyard was full of baby birds. My dad was in the family room later that day in the evening
when he heard either the mother or the farther start to squawk so he went outside to see that
our cat, Izzy, was standing near one of the baby birds that was on the ground after it fell out
of the birdhouse. My dad figured that the parents were probably squawking at Izzy seeing how he
knows that she had killed birds in the past, he then picked up the baby bird and put it back in
the birdhouse.
John sent me an E-mail yesterday that was titled quote “Fw: Eyecatching Photos...”
I don’t know if you have “Microsoft PowerPoint,” but this E-mail that John sent to me yesterday
had a PowerPoint Slide Show attached to it with some pictures and I attached the same file to
this message. Later today, I might forward you an E-mail that John sent to me last week on
Tuesday the 28th.
See you on Tuesday at 1PM.
