I think that sounds good. And I didn’t know that there’s a back entrance to your house? Now
if I’m walking Bubbles and that red leash I prefer isn’t there, then can I use the same purple
one that I used last time? My mom and dad will drop me off tomorrow at 1PM.

When you were showing me the stuff that was in the Vancouver Sun, I remember you told me that
there’s a couple guys that you wouldn’t mind going to see tonight and on Monday. And so Dianne’s
going with you to the one that’s on tonight? Also, I believe you said that Derek Trucks is the
one who’s performing tonight?

I look forward to hearing about it.
You first learned about Michael Jackson’s death at my place and it sounds like it only
happened just within the last couple hours before my mom came home. Were you the first person
that Dianne heard about this from? And my dad hadn’t heard the news for a few days so he didn’t
find out about all the celebrity deaths until he phoned my mom yesterday on the way home.
I didn’t know until after you and I both heard about Michael Jackson’s death that Ed McMahon
had also died this week. And you said that the reason why you didn’t talk to me about him on
Thursday was because you thought I probably never heard of him seeing how most of his career
happened before my time. I didn’t know who Farrah Fawcett was though until you told me on
Thursday about her death. Now I remember that Ed McMahon was on Hollywood Squares one week when
I watched it and you also heard me say that I knew he use to host the talent show,
Star Search.
And remember I wrote to you about a long time ago that Hollywood Squares was my favorite game
show EVER and I use to watch it every night until it got cancelled around mid-2004?
Now my dad caught a bunch of fish and neither Robert or Kiernan wanted to keep any of the
fish that they caught so my dad got all to take home. They ended up staying at Chataway and when
they first got there the lady told them that they could pick any campsite they wanted as long as
they’d be out by Friday, so they picked a spot that’s right down by the lake. I uploaded all of
the pictures that my dad took to the following URL for you to download, and it’s a big 63MB
file:
http://www.stuntsillusion.com/download/tempfile2.zip
The one of the lodge at Chataway was taken from the other side of the lake at their campsite
using the telephoto lens on my dad’s camera, he also took IMG_1997 using his telephoto lens. And
notice in one of the pics of Kiernan by the campfire that he was listening to his iPod. My dad
told us that Kiernan was useless for almost the entire trip and he didn’t like to do a lot for
himself. Every time they looked, they kept seeing the-18-year-old leaving the campsite to walk
up to the store. He would tell the other guys that he was going up to look at the photo albums,
but he always came back with three chocolate bars and he spent over eight dollars in total at
that store during their stay. However dad does enjoy his spending time with him and likes to
keep in touch.
Now about the photo albums that are inside the lodge at Chataway for the public to look at,
there’s one picture in there of my dad with a big fish that he caught one of the times when he
was there a couple years ago and there’s another picture of my cousin, David, with Kiernan’s
mom, Michelle. The lady who works at the campground made copies of both pictures for their
albums and then she gave the originals back to Keirnan for him to keep, and she didn’t know
until just within the last few days when they were up there that David wouldn’t be with them
anymore. David who passed away is the same cousin who I told you used to work at the Roundhouse
in Vancouver, but I never went to see any shows there. The only time I’ve been to the Roundhouse
was one time ten years ago while David was working there, we got to go inside when we stopped
there to pick up David before we took him out for dinner.
My dad had two burgers for supper one night on their trip, Kiernan had two hotdogs on the
same night, and Robert had a hamburger bun on which he had both a burger and a hotdog. They
stopped at the Save-On-Foods store in Mission on their way out of town to pick up groceries for
their trip, when they were there Kiernan bought a big plastic tub of gummy worms and he was
eating those the whole time. He had almost the whole tub eaten when it was time to drive back
home.
And they were going to have brunch yesterday on the way home at a place in Hope that Robert
likes and he said it’s nice but it was lined up out the door when they got there so they ended
up eating at the McDonald's in Hope. They had to park on the street a block away from the
restaurant because trailers aren’t allowed in the McDonald's parking lot. They stopped for lunch
at the A&W in Merritt on their way up on Tuesday, my dad had a chicken burger at both A&W and
McDonald's. Also, my dad made an appointment to take his Subaru in this morning for its
servicing that it needs after every 6 thousand kilometers. After he dropped it off at the
dealership, he walked up to the “abc Country Restaurant” at the corner of 192nd Street and
Highway 10 to have breakfast. He hadn’t had eggs since before he left on the trip.
My grandma’s 80th birthday is coming up this week on Canada Day. My mom picked up a card for
her when she was shopping just two days ago while you were with me and now we just have to think
of something that we can get her.
And workmen have been busy fixing up our street over the last few days. We have been hearing
machines and they seem to be just filling in some cracks.
