John,
My mom had a plate of rice yesterday for my supper that she set on the kitchen counter to
cool. While it was cooling, she bumped the plate and spilled my supper all over the floor so my
dad had to run out to Safeway and pick me up some Chinese food. Mom wasn’t happy about that
because she did all that work for nothing. And this resulted in me not getting my supper until
twenty minutes later than the usual time, but at least now my mom doesn’t have to cook for me
tonight because I have leftovers.
I only had about five or six hours of sleep last night. I didn’t fall asleep until 2:30 this
morning, then I woke up at Seven and didn’t go back to sleep for a couple more hours. What
happened to those seven/eight hour sleeps that I told you I was having around the last time when
we saw Dr. McKibbin which was back in April?
And Takashi took my dad out for lunch today at White Spot. After lunch, they drove back to
work to find that everyone was standing outside their building and that the fire truck was
there. There had been a false fire alarm and they had to evacuate the building.
