John,
I’d be okay with an ebike or a Volkswagen parked in front of my place, just as long as I
didn’t have to get in it. I told you before that I’d always want my worker to have a vehicle
that I feel comfortable riding in, even if I never went in the worker’s car because I didn’t
lose confidence and things are still the way they were when Amir was my worker whereas I did a
bus trip with him almost every week. I’d still want my worker to have a safe vehicle incase
something happens where there was something urgent and we had to go in it.
The HandyDART wasn’t parked in front of Muriel’s house for twenty minutes, it was parked
in front of my house for those twenty
minutes. The HandyDART picks her up everyday, usually around lunchtime, and then it takes her to
the “Morgan Place” care home where she sees her sister, Jessie, who use to live next door with
Muriel. And it wasn’t after the HandyDART picked up Muriel last Friday when it pulled up in
front of my place and was parked there for twenty minutes, it stayed parked there for twenty
minutes later in the afternoon after it dropped her
off.
Just after we left for our walk yesterday, remember you saw that house that’s up for sale
when we got a little ways down my street and then you made a joke by saying that you could move
in and be my neighbour. Do you also remember that you said the same thing one time a couple
weeks ago when you and I walked by the same house and we saw they were having an open house? And
this is the house where I told you before that cat use to live who, the one that lays in the
middle of the road. I saw that cat on walks with my mom and on walks with Carol, but I just
never got to see it when I went out with you.
Yesterday morning before you came, my dad saw Meika on the fence. Remember that Meika is the
cat who lives next door. My dad said that it was on a leash and Logan was holding the leash as
the cat walked along the fence. And remember I told you almost a year ago that Logan moved out,
well he moved back in just a few months ago.
We didn’t know that Izzy had been outside the whole time while you were here yesterday until
she showed up at the door about an hour after you left. She made a bee line for her dishes as
soon as we opened the door for her because my mom says that she worked up an appetite.
When my dad was in the kitchen getting a snack out of the cupboard two nights ago (on
Saturday evening), Izzy ran over his foot. He was really surprised this time though because Izzy
doesn’t usually claw him when she runs over his foot, she’s usually just playing around every
time when she runs over my dad’s foot.
Yesterday when you were putting that paperclip and a couple pennies inside the paper holder
just as I was coming out of the bathroom, remember I asked you if you were making another
surprise for us and then you said that we haven’t found the first one yet? Well, when you said
“first surprise,” did you mean the yellow cat spring inside my mom’s scissor holder that’s on
the wall in our kitchen? My mom just saw it within the last few days, but hasn’t taken it apart
yet.
And in addition to the fish stuff that I told you about in the last E-mail that I sent you,
my dad told me that he flushed one of my big (adult) female mollies a few days before we moved
those three of their babies that I had left. Since this female died, I now just have two adult
female mollies and one male left in my 38 gallon.
Remember I told you in the E-mail I sent you last Saturday (on the 21st) that my dad
phoned about the “Telus price matching” and our internet will be four times as fast? I also
didn’t tell you in the message I sent you just two days ago that we got the new ADSL modem in
the mail one day last week, but my dad couldn’t get it to work when he tried to hook it up
earlier that day (on Saturday morning just two days ago) so he called the helpline and
they said that they’ll send us another one in three to five days.
And do you have any plans yet for Easter weekend? Because my dad’s birthday is on Good
Friday, which is April 10th, my mom thought that it might be nice if she and my dad could go out
for lunch one day. So far, Monday’s the only day that’s not good for us on that weekend because
that’s the day when the behavioralist from FVMH, Brendan, is coming out to see us. Even though
things have been going fairly well lately and there hasn’t been any specific problem, he said
that he’d like to meet with us every so often just to check in. And we don’t know if he’s going
to be at our meeting out in Port Coquitlam on the Thursday before (on the 9th).
-Neil
P.S. I remember that The Dukes of Hazzard was mentioned yesterday when you were telling us
about your concert that you did at the university out in Abbotsford and all the young girls in
their skimpy outfits. Here’s their car for you:
