John,
When Larry stopped in two days ago, he said that he’ll talk to the family that he normally
works with on Tuesday afternoons to see if they’re flexible about changing days. He also said
that he’d phone us sometime within the next few days to let us know whether there was a problem
or if he's on for next Tuesday afternoon (the 24th), but we haven’t heard from him so
far. Also, I know that it would give me a space in between if he could work with me on Tuesdays
instead of Mondays but until my mom phoned you two afternoons ago I thought that
you’d might want to start working with me on
Mondays again if you saw Monday afternoons open up seeing how I know that you like Sundays to
yourself if you can get them.
We went out yesterday afternoon to my appointment at Park Place. They treated me like I was
applying for the first time and we had to go through the whole routine again that I had to go
through when I first registered to be on disability because they had closed my file after my
inheritance was put into my Royal Bank account. The guy who we met with thought that they did
the right thing by closing my file and it wasn’t a mistake because an inheritance is considered
“an asset” instead of “income,” they have to close my file if I receive an asset but he said
that they’d still cover my medical benefits if I receive extra income. The guy also said that if
we do this retroactively and I also get last month’s (February’s) cheque, then I wouldn’t
get all of it because the food allowance would be taken off of last month’s cheque seeing how
obviously you can’t buy food you already ate. When I said to my mom a few days before
yesterday’s appointment that I could’ve gotten all of February’s cheque and maybe also January’s
if the Bank of Montreal didn’t mess up and I could’ve reapplied sooner to be on disability
again, she responded by saying quote “it’s easy to look back and think about how we could have
done things differently.” I don’t get why she would say that though if it wasn’t our mistake, it
was the Bank of Montreal’s mistake.
Yesterday after our appointment, we stopped at the Tim Hortons location that’s on King George
where Save-On-Foods and Shoppers Drug Mart are to get two donuts for myself; one double
chocolate (chocolate donut with chocolate icing) and one Vanilla Dip with colour sprinkles.
I had the coloured sprinkle one yesterday for my afternoon snack and I plan to have the double
chocolate one tonight for my dessert after supper. My dad will probably pick up Safeway Chinese
food for me to have before that and maybe also get some Chinese food for himself seeing how my
mom’s not feeling well again and probably won’t feel up to cooking. She can’t stop coughing
today and she’s complaining that she feels really awful. And I wish that Carol could come and
look after me when my mom doesn’t feel mobile because she doesn’t feel well.
Also when Larry was here two days ago, he said that we’re suppose to bug you by keeping track
of how often your new car breaks down or has problems seeing how it’s a North American car and
not a foreign one like the rest of us have.
My mom bought a box of those FudgeeO flavour Thinsations “Thin Crisps” one time a couple
weeks ago when she was out shopping and I might have a bag of those for my snack tomorrow
afternoon when you’re here. Remember I first told you about these in the E-mail I sent you on
Wednesday Oct.8,2008
after my mom told me that they came out with FudgeeO Thinsations “Thin Crisps.” Also, I have a
bunch of new baby mollies to show you tomorrow afternoon. My dad saw them last Thursday
(on the 12th of this month) in my 38 gallon. And he said that next time when he gets some free
time he’ll move the baby mollies that are in my upstairs fish tank down to the 38 gallon seeing
how the 30 or forty that I already have in my 38 gallon are smaller.
See you tomorrow at 1PM.
-Neil
