John,
Is one to 7PM okay for you on
Sunday? We could leave at a quarter after 5 to pick up Chinese food at Safeway and then be back
at my place in time for the six o’clock news. Now this will only make up for two hours of the
three and a half that we didn’t use when I had to cancel, so we’ll still have an extra hour and
a half left to make up sometime after Sunday. And I hope that I won’t have a lousy sleep on the
night before Sunday, otherwise you know that I won’t want you to stay that late (7PM).
You asked me yesterday if I got
anything for my mom yet for her birthday. I did say in the E-mail I sent you two Fridays
ago (on the 13h of this month) that she suggested I could get her
Alison Krauss
and Robert Plant’s new CD, “Raising Sand.” I remember that this CD was #2 on the “Top CDs in
sales” list when you were reading out loud the pages with the “Top 10” lists in yesterday’s
Vancouver Sun, I might’ve got out with my dad by now and got it for her if I didn’t have so many
lousy sleeps this month. It might have to be a late birthday present for her.
Now, here are all my meals and snacks for Wednesday Feb.25,2009:
Lunch:
|
MR. NOODLES brand chicken flavour
noodle cup, two “Peek Freans” digestive cookies for dessert |
Afternoon snack: |
Oreo Thinsations “Thin Crisps” |
Supper:
|
Barbeque salmon tips with a dinner bun
and some homemade carrot salad that my mom made. Also, I had one of the “DEVILS FOOD” pudding
cups for dessert. |
Evening snack:
|
An “Oatmeal to Go” mixed berry bar and
I had water to drink with that.
|
I
remember that yesterday you asked me if I have a snack in the evenings. I talked about my
evening snacks in many of my previous E-mails, so you should’ve known by now that I have one
everyday. And it’s always at the same time, 9PM. Also, I’m not up early enough to have brunch on
most days and so I usually start with lunch. On the few days when I have something that I need
to get up early for, I have a dish of canned fruit (usually either peaches or pears) with
chocolate milk to drink.
You suggested when you saw me
last Thursday (on the 19th) that I start writing down what I eat everyday and also write
down whether I had a good sleep on the night before, or a bad sleep, or if I was up lots going
to the bathroom. I already said in the E-mail I sent you on Tuesday Feb.10,2009 that my mom was
going to take one of my old notebooks and start keeping track. She just didn’t remember that she
was going to do that until after last Thursday when you
suggested doing this, but now she’s doing it.
You asked me many times including
yesterday if I ever wear a toque when it’s too cold so I asked my mom and she said that she’ll
have to look to see if I still have one. If I do have one, I know that it’s been a long time
since the last time I wore it.
And you said that I should watch
“The Wizard of Oz”
again so that I’ll se the part that I didn’t remember when Dorothy threw water on the Wicked
Witch who then screamed “I'm melting.” I’ve already told you many times in previous E-mails that
I won’t do that until after I see “the
Grinch.”
Also last Thursday (the
19th), you told me about how you’re making a joke whenever we see a house for sale on our walks.
When you see the realtor’s name on the sign, you said that you’re making the joke by asking me
if I know who that realtor is even if it’s a name you recognize after I already told you that I
know that person. Our walk on Monday the 16th though, it sounded to me more like you were asking
me again if Karley Smith’s the one I met after I had already told you in the E-mail I sent you
on Saturday Jan.31,2009 that she’s not the one I met.
After my mom and dad left Costco
yesterday afternoon, they saw an accident at where 200th Street crosses the Langley Bypass. It
looked like the truck was trying to turn at the intersection when either it hit a car or a car
ran into the truck because my mom could see that the car hit halfway along the length of the
truck
And I saw a commercial last
Saturday evening (the 21st of this month) on TV for the Dairy Queen chicken strip basket,
and I saw a dog in the commercial.
I hope you will write me before
Sunday.
-Neil
