I thought at first before I found
out you hid them that maybe my mom took my gloves by mistake when she meant to take her own. You
had me worried for a minute, John, I thought that I might have to phone my mom in a hurry to
tell her to turn around and come back with my gloves.
Yesterday after we scanned our images, you saw the Lofthouse brand moist sugar Valentines Day
cookies on the kitchen counter that my mom got for me on the day before (on Wednesday).
You thought at first that they were heart-shaped. But no, they’re round. And these ones are
chocolate cookies though on most occasions Lofthouse cookies are only available in white,
Halloween was the only other time so far when Lofthouse cookies came in either white or
chocolate. And even though my mom had an upset stomach two days ago, I appreciate that she went
out to Safeway and got them for me after my dad got home that day. I had a couple of the
Lofthouse Valentines cookies yesterday for my dessert after lunch. And then yesterday for my
evening snack I had some of the red and white Gummi Bears that we got from the bulk section at
Save-On when I was there with my mom last Tuesday, and I finally had the KitKat bar today for my
afternoon snack that I got from the Macs store two Thursdays ago (on Jan.29,2009) when I walked
over there with my mom.
Just after you left yesterday, my mom and dad saw breaking news at the top of the five
o’clock news. There had been another gang-related shooting in the Lower Mainland, this one
happened in Coquitlam at the intersection of Como Lake Road and North Road. My mom heard on the
radio when she was out with my dad in the car yesterday that there was a police incident in
Coquitlam but she didn’t know until she saw the breaking news at 5PM that it had to do with more
shootings.
My dad was getting Kiernan caught up on all the news last Sunday (on the 8th) when
they went to the Boat Show, he got home the day before (on Saturday) after he was in
California. He didn’t know the latest about the Port Mann Bridge that they’re no longer going to
twin it and they decided to build a new bridge instead and he didn’t know about all the gang
shootings. And they’re having lots of wildfires in Australia right now because of the hot
weather, and in another part of Australia there is lots of flooding.
I forgot to say in
my previous E-mail
I sent you two days ago (on Wednesday) that I already knew Mittens, who we scanned an
image of yesterday, is a polydactyl because my mom read me the story in last Sunday’s Province.
My cat, Chloe, is also a polydactyl because she has
seven toes on each of her feet, not six.
Now please let me know which of these following you already downloaded so that I could delete
them before I put up the images that we scanned yesterday for you to download:

When we drove by that little store on 128th Street on our way home from Crescent Beach
yesterday and I pointed out the big “Coke” sign that’s outside the store, you asked me when the
last time was I had Coke to drink. I haven’t drank it since this time I told you about here in
the E-mail I sent you on Tuesday May 20,2008, and that was only nine months ago:
> My dad got a free bottle of Coke one day last week when he was at the liquor store. If you
buy one bottle of rye, you get
> a free bottle of Coke. I’ll get to drink Coke for the first time in quite a while but I plan
not to open that bottle until after I
> finish the bottle of Lime Crush that I told you in the message I sent you...
And I told you that the last time I drank Root beer was last August when I drank the rest a
bottle that was leftover from my dad’s trip, he only drank half of it when he was on his
trip.
Also, I told you in the E-mail I sent you on Wednesday Feb.20,2008 about the time when Amir
pointed out a monkey tree in my neighbourhood. This was one day when I was walking home with him
either from the pool or from White Rock Centre after we got off the bus there, we came from
somewhere in that direction when we saw it. Anyway, yesterday therefore wasn’t the first time
when I saw a monkey tree but I can’t remember whether or not it was the first time when I
touched one. I don’t remember if Amir ever had me touch one any of the times when I was with
him. And Amir was the worker who I had before Carol worked with me incase you forgot.
And yesterday just before you left when we were talking about the RDSP
(Registered Disability Savings Plan), you asked which banks are
offering it. I already told you in the E-mail I sent you on Tuesday Dec.23,2008 that the Bank of
Montreal is currently the only one that’s offering it. And I didn’t know that the other banks
had been slowly bringing it out until I heard my dad say so yesterday when you were here. My mom
told me earlier today that we had already knew at the time when we went to set mine up that the
other banks were also going to be doing this, but none of them said when they were going to
start.
My cousin, Melissa, comes out tomorrow from Ontario and she’ll be here for five days. Her
mom, my auntie Ann, phoned us last Friday (on the 6th) thinking that she was six days
late wishing my mom a happy birthday because she thought that her birthday was on February 1st
instead of March 1st. Speaking about my mom’s birthday, she saw that
Alison Krauss
won some Grammy Awards last Sunday for her new CD “Raising Sand” and my mom didn’t know until
then that she has a new CD out so she suggested that I could get it for her.
And are you sure you’d want to buy that cottage on Crescent Beach if you win the 649 or would
you rather buy that 5 thousand square foot monster mansion at 140th Street and Crescent Road?
That’s six times the size of our house.
