When I said “does it need to happen before the next time that we meet with them,” I meant
that we shouldn’t feel rushed to find a second worker in time that would work for my mom and
dad. Larry works for me and if it happens in the end that we can’t find someone who works
weekends, then I said that I’d give you up and work with him to please the FVMH.
And having Larry on Monday and yourself on Thursday and Sundays sounds okay with me.
I got out with my mom for a walk late today because both her and I needed the exercise. We
were just going to go around the small block at first, but she decided to make it longer when we
got to the elementary school so we then went through the schoolyard. At one point when we were
going through the schoolyard, I almost tripped on a small dip in the grass because my glasses
were steaming up. And then when we were a block away from my place as we were coming home, we
passed a lady who was walking two little dachshunds. They were smaller than Izzy and my mom said
that she saw their legs going a mile a minute. Maybe me, you, and Larry could go for a walk
tomorrow afternoon as long as the fog isn’t too bad.
I tried some Pinty’s brand chicken chips yesterday for supper. My mom had a bottle of “Lynch”
brand HONEY MUSTARD SAUCE and I had some of that with them. When you and I go out for lunch when
my mom has her dentist appointment next Wednesday (on the 28th), maybe we could either go
to A&W or try the new SUBWAY if it’s not a bright one. I’ve never gone to SUBWAY with you before.
My dad had a call from my grandpa this morning. He said that they went to go out yesterday
and when they were leaving my grandma fell in their parking garage. Her glasses broke and she
got a black eye. They had to wait four hours in emergency at the hospital in Mission, at one
point while they were waiting a family came in with a little boy who had a scratch on his eye.
They said that he’d been attacked by his cat.
And my dad told us he heard this morning that the Pattullo Bridge is closed. Some support
beams caught fire at one end. They said that it could be a month before it opens again, that
will cause a big mess for traffic.
See you tomorrow at 1PM.
