John,
I already knew that this idea about doing Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays might come up if
my mom didn’t suggest anything else before yesterday when I kept asking her what her idea was
about making this work. I said in the previous E-mail that I didn’t want more than two weekdays.
I don’t want to have to give up Thursdays only because another worker would be coming on the
next day and I wouldn’t feel like doing two days in a row. I liked Thursdays for a long time.
When you quit your job over a year ago, you asked me if Monday and Friday afternoons would be
okay but I wanted Thursdays instead of Fridays. I liked Thursdays even before I met you. You
know that Carol came here on every Sunday year round. We’d usually do an extra session on the
weeks when she was out of school for summer holidays, the Christmas holidays, spring break, or
whatever. And I remember that I usually liked doing that session on Thursdays whenever we had an
opportunity to do an extra one.
My mom told me that Larry’s blue car he had with him yesterday is the Honda Fit that he
mentioned a couple times. As she was leaving to go out she saw it said “Honda Fit” on it. It
sounds like Larry doesn’t have any kids, I guess he just wants to have his weekends to spend
with his wife. I remember yesterday though you said you thought that was a nice thing for Larry
to say after he said something, I can’t remember off the top of my head what it was that he
said. And I know you also said that the FVMH would be pleased to hear that I got a second
worker, but does it need to happen before the next time that we meet with them?
I’d give you up just so someone new (Larry) could come at the times that
work for both him and I, but then you’d be the one feeling sad. On the other hand, I do remember
Larry said that he sends lots of E-mails everyday while you said that you’re lucky if you send
one to me at least once every two weeks.
Now I know that I can finally take the link to “the Grinch” off those lists that I keep
sending you that are in the PSs at the bottom of my E-mails. Do you remember why I kept sending
you that link in the first place? Because I haven’t watched any movies with my mom since a month
after Carol first started working with me and I won’t watch any other movie until after I watch
“the Grinch” with her (with my mom). And I will especially be putting off watching “the
Grinch” for quite a long time now after going through this Volkswagen thing.
And I never met Seth Rogen, my mom recognized
him when she saw the image of him in the paper that we scanned because she remembered that he
played on a TV series that I watched a few years before called
“Undeclared.”
You were wrong last Thursday when you wrote down on the crossword “tomatoes” for a soup or
salad ingredient, the answer was “scallions” which is like green onions. The song was “I'm a
Man” for the clue on which we weren’t sure if the answer was Batman or Tin Man. When my mom was
doing the crossword two days ago (on Sunday afternoon), she asked me what the answer was
when she came across the clue for a Tom Jones song “ Not Unusual.” She also
asked me when she got to a clue for a singer “ Ronstadt,” so I then
told her that would be Linda Ronstadt. And yesterday when we talked about song lyrics, Larry was
singing The Beatles song “Yellow Submarine.” I remember I heard you sing that a few times.
And you will still have to come here on Thursday this week seeing how my mom and dad have
already made plans with my grandparents to meet them that afternoon at the casino in Cloverdale.
Maybe we could drive to the Dairy Queen for our snack, I’ll get a chocolate milkshake. And I
hope this time you will have time to write me before then.
