John,
I called my friend, Kris, this afternoon to let him know that we won’t be seeing him tomorrow
and that my dad will try and take my presents to him sometime before Christmas Day. When I said
to my mom that “I guess I’ll be eating up those shortbread cookies myself that dad got for me to
take to Kris’s,” she said that she likes shortbread too. I am very disappointed that we can’t go
see Kris.
My dad said that when he went outside this morning the thermometer said it was -14 °C. Izzy
and Chloe went out for two seconds and then they both came running back inside. My dad talked to
my grandpa this morning on the phone who said that my uncle Gordon and auntie Sue plan on going
out there tomorrow to see them. You know that my grandparents live in Abbotsford which is
farther out than Langley. And Gordon and Sue drive a little Mazda 6, I don’t know if they have
snow tires for it.
I already know that you don’t know Carol and that you can’t help
me. And you were right, I am going to remind you that I'll never let
her go and she’s family.
When my dad was decorating the Christmas tree this morning, he found a little red mitten and
he asked us “did anybody lose a red mitten.” When we got the two Starbucks gift cards last year,
the one that we sent to Carol and the one that I got for you, I remember that each of the cards
came inside a little red mitten. I think that we kept your’s inside its mitten when we gave it
to you, but we had to take Carol’s card out of the mitten because we sent it to her through the
mail and it didn’t fit well in the envelope. And it was because of my
mom and dad’s mistake why Carol didn’t get her mitten. We wouldn’t
have had to mail her card if she was still seeing me then.
It wasn’t a Sesame Street Christmas television special that I watched with my mom last
Wednesday evening, so of course Bert, Ernie, and The Count weren’t in it. I gave you a link to
the special in
the last E-mail that I sent you,
here is a list that’s on that page of all the muppets that were in this one-hour special:

The Muppet Show’s

this video
on YouTube of him with Victor Borge. And remember that his name is Fozzie, not Fonzie.
