John,
I remember I was asked at the meeting yesterday why I won’t let my mom and dad have our
relatives over, and I’ll remind you that I like Carol more than I like
any of our own relatives. I don’t want to run into Carol when I’m out
in the community with any other worker, and I don’t want anyone who isn’t Carol to stay
overnight.
I’ll also let you know that I don’t like the idea about
me having to go out with another worker while
my mom gets to stay home. This idea might work for my mom though if only we could have two
houses.
Yesterday after the meeting, we went to Dairy Queen for our snack. I got my banana split
and my mom had a Brownie Earthquake which she let me try a piece of. I liked it, I might try my
own if I go to DQ with you sometime within the next few weeks. After my dad dropped off my mom
and me at home yesterday afternoon, he drove over to the Semiahmoo Mall and got a new cell phone
for himself. My mom still has the only camera phone in our family. And when he was in the mall,
he saw my friend, Mac, walking out of Zellers with his girlfriend, Naomi, so I called Mac this
afternoon and talked to him for a few minutes over the phone.
My mom thought that you could meet us in PoCo on Thursday so that you could drive me home
after the meeting while my mom and dad stop to browse for a few things at Guildford Mall. If I
want to get a DQ shake after the meeting, do you think we’ll have time to have it there or I
could have it in your car if you want to get across the bridge before rush hour? And another
idea I just thought of now while I’m typing this...depending on how early we get out of the
meeting, we could sit at the DQ in Fleetwood on 152nd Street near Fraser Highway after we go
across the bridge.
My mom read me a story a few days ago that was in the newspaper about TransLink selling some
of their old trolley buses to Argentina. And remember I showed you when you were here two
afternoons ago the four new angelfish that my dad got for me earlier that same day. Well now one
of my two new sail fin (male) mollies died yesterday.
I listened to the first little bit of the CD, it sounded okay. And I even noticed that you
labeled it as “Neil’s Forest.” I also discovered that you burned it as an “Audio CD,” I ripped
the track to my hard drive using a program called “AltoMP3 Maker” so now the track is an MP3
file on my hard drive. Now the first little bit of the audio track would work perfect in the
background at the very beginning of our video and maybe you know of some good instrumental music
that we could then have it fade to.
My dad is going to pick up Kiernan tonight in Vancouver. He will then bring him back here to
stay over night and then tomorrow morning they will take the boat and go fishing at Alouette
Lake.
My mom was going to get me a Safeway chicken cobb salad for my supper tonight, but they
didn’t have it at either the Peninsula Village Safeway or the Ocean Park Safeway. My dad has to
run out this afternoon and pick up a part for his boat motor, on his way home he will stop at
Wendy’s and pick me up a different salad to try called a “chicken BLT.”
While you were with me two days ago, my mom and dad stopped at the Price Smart in Semiahmoo
Mall and got me a pack of raspberry flavour Lofthouse brand cookies. I tried a couple today for
my dessert after lunch and they were good. Also, my mom picked me up a bag of Reese's Pieces
earlier today when she was at London Drugs because they were on sale.
And my mom was just digging in the front yard, she found a quarter when she was digging which
she gave to me.
My grandparents are now back in Ontario, they will be staying with my aunt and uncle who live
back there for the next week and a half. My grandma said on the phone that she took a picture
for me of their one cat who likes to lay down on the floor when it eats and drinks from it’s
dishes.
See you on Monday at 1PM.
-Neil
P.S. Here’s a pic of Fozzie Bear, the one who I told you is a comedian:
