John,
I learned something new about you today...from Cam. You are one of Canada’s best guitarists.
He also said that next time I come down to his pet store I should have you bring me.
After we met Cam, we walked down to SUBWAY for our lunch. I got my two cookies with my meal
and my dad got a small bag of Lay’s Classic chips with his, he gave me the chips to have for one
of my evening snacks. On our walk back to the car after we left SUBWAY, we stopped at the 711
convenience store on Burrard Street and got twenty items from the 5 cent bins to take home for
my afternoon snack today. Once we got back in the car we drove to the “Fraser Aquarium” store on
Fraser Street at which I got four angelfish. Now you know that I got something else today
besides lunch and my afternoon snack. Another thing I got today, at Cam’s store, are some
magnetic algae scrapers. Neither my dad or myself knew that such things exist until today when
Cam told us about them after my dad told him that he’s always scraping algae off of my tanks,
now he says that I could probably scrape my own algae using these new magnetic things. And now
I’m thinking that maybe I’ll go back to feeding my own fish starting tomorrow.
As soon as we got home, my dad put my four new angelfish into my one ten gallon fish tank
that has my remaining female betas. I hope to go out with my dad again this Saturday morning now
that he says those female betas that I have are now big enough that I could trade them in, I’m
already making plans to go with him to the Fish World store at 64th and Scott Road on
Saturday.
I’m also still looking for kuhli loaches. The only ones that the “Fraser Aquarium” store had
were black ones so after that store we then stopped at Metrotown to use the washroom and take a
look in the pet store there. We didn’t find kuhli loaches either at the Metrotown pet store or
at the last fish store we stopped at after we left Metrotown and before we came home, the “King
Ed Pet Centre” at Kingsway and Edmonds in Burnaby. And I said to my dad later that if I knew
earlier we were going to stop at Metrotown, I could’ve waited and got a drink from Orange Julius
for my afternoon snack instead of stopping at the 711.
My dad took lots of videos of my great uncle’s train set yesterday when he stopped at his
place in Penticton to pick up the pears. He also took a video when they drove across the new
Kelowna bridge, this one I might post on YouTube. He brought back a bottle of “Thirsty Lizard”
which is the name of an alcoholic drink that he got when they stayed at the hotel, he also
brought back a bottle of Root beer which he only drank half of. There’s just enough Root beer
left in there for a small drink, I’ll have it to drink with another one of my evening snacks one
day.
My mom told me that 15 people in Canada have now died from that listeria outbreak. She also
told me about another outbreak, the mumps outbreak. It started in Abbotsford, and now it’s
heading West and some people in Burnaby now have it.
In the attached ZIP file, you can get this week’s featured house plan from
Jenish.com.
And notice that this one does not have a garage.
When my mom read through the jokes at
the bottom of yesterday’s E-mail
before I sent it to you, she found the one that Izzy uses... "Claw Enforcement"
See you tomorrow at 1PM.
