John,
Thank you for letting me know that you got
my previous E-mail and
I’m glad to hear that you got it this time.
My dad left this morning for his trip. He phoned us at 10AM to let us know that he made it to
Kamloops, he also told us that he saw three deer on his drive up the Coquihalla. Once in
Kamloops, he picked up Kiernan, that’s David’s ex-girlfriend’s 16 year
old son. After Kamloops, they planned to follow Highway 5 North of
there to Highway 24 and then they follow the green line on the map in this following ZIP file to
Young Lake from there:

You heard my dad say that he printed out some maps off of Google Earth, and that’s obviously not
a Google Earth map in the above ZIP file but anyway now you know where my uncle’s
mother’s cabin is. They will spend one or two nights at the cabin and then they plan to drive
home through the Okanogan and maybe pick up some fruit. They most likely won’t be home until
Tuesday because Kiernan’s going with his dad to a concert on Wednesday. And I hope to go with my
dad on Wednesday down to your fish store on Burrard Street which you said you know the owner and
also to the “Fraser Aquarium” store on Fraser Street. Those are the only two decent fish stores
in Vancouver that we know about, all the other ones n Vancouver that we know about seem more
junky. And my mom and I will be picking up Wendy’s tonight for our supper. I plan to wait in the
car while she goes inside the Wendy’s at South Point and gets our food, we will then bring our
food back home to eat.
My mom told me that recently on the news another East Indian lady got killed in Surrey, this
one on 72nd Avenue near 143rd Street. It was her husband who killed her, he shared some taxi
business in Penticton with someone else and the business wasn’t doing well. There was a picture
of the lady on the front of yesterday’s Peace Arch and it said that she worked at Peace Arch
Hospital in housekeeping.
My mom also read in yesterday’s Peace Arch that the “K W” Chinese restaurant on King George
Highway caught fire last Wednesday (on the 20th of this month). And my mom remembered
that Carol always use to talk about this restaurant. My cousin, Michael who now lives in
Edmonton, liked the food at this place better than Safeway’s Chinese food because K W doesn’t
put bean sprouts in their chow mein and Safeway does. And we might try their Chinese food
ourselves sometime.
I saw all four of the Home Alone movies
and I had planned to copy all four of them for my DVD book that I told you a while back I was
putting together but then stopped working on a few years ago. I’ll also let you know that I
myself don’t like Ricky Martin who you told me just became father of twins, but you know that I
do like Neil Young.
And I might sign up for facebook sometime within the next few days seeing how I got this
newsletter earlier this afternoon from NameCheap.com, this is where I host my stuntsillusion.com
domain which points to the Stunts Illusion website. Anyway, they said in today’s newsletter that
they established their own group on Facebook which I could become a member of if I want to stay
up to date on their latest news and special offers.
See you on Monday at 1PM.
-Neil
P.S. Remember in the message that I sent you on Canada Day last month I said
that I didn’t have a picture anymore recent than
1990 of the Canada flag formed in a flower garden. Now I have
some more recent ones, the ones that we saw of the garden at Peace Arch Park while we were
playing with Google Earth two days ago:
And here’s a picture of a cat that the lady Janice who rides in my dad’s carpool printed out
and gave to us, I then scanned this next image though we might be able to find a better picture
of this cat somewhere online. Meet Yoda the cat with FOUR ears:
