Message:

John,

I made it out with my dad yesterday afternoon and we took my platies into Fish World, I’ll tell you about that. Just before we left to go to Fish World, I called my friend Mac after my mom decided that my dad could go with us and we could take him to the Moxie's in Langley. Mac said that either his actual birthday (Wednesday), Thursday, or Friday next week all look good for him even though I probably prefer either Wednesday or Thurs. And my mom also decided that I can have my first piece of the cake after turkey dinner tomorrow and then they’ll just come home at 4:30PM the next day, if I decide I want Chinese food that day she said that they could pick some up for me to have after you go. I’m glad it worked out two days before when I called Mac the first time after not talking to him for a few months, here is something I said in the message I sent you on Wednesday Feb.27,2008:

/font>

> Also when my dad took Kris’s call last night when I was upstairs having my shower, he told Kris that I’m going
> through a tough time right now. I normally don’t want people to know that I’m going through a tough time, none of
> our friends or relatives know that there are altercations between myself and my parents and they all think that we
> don’t have any problems and are no different than the rest of the families on my dad’s side. My mom told me that
> if I choose to call him back and if he says anything about my tough time I could lie to him and say that “we’re just
> trying to figure out what my future will be and what will happen to me after my parents are gone.” He didn’t say
> anything though, that’s a good thing.

Before I called Mac last Wednesday (the 19th), my mom told me that if he asks why I haven’t called him for a few months I could tell him that we’ve had a lot going on the last while. And if Mac asks what’s been going on, my mom then told me that I could say we had a lot of appointments and there were a few times when my mom wasn’t feeling well. Once again it worked out in the end and Mac didn’t ask me why I hadn’t called him.

If I end up keeping my dentist appointment on April 3rd and I have to reschedule with you, I think I would be too tired on Thursday if you come on the Wednesday so Friday would probably work better for me. Or if Friday isn’t good for you, I’m also okay with Saturday the 5th. Again, I hope that we can make time sometime in the next few weeks for me to go out with my mom and find a birthday present for my dad. There’s already a lot going on the week of his birthday which is Thursday the 10th and Serena comes two days before on the 8th. And Raynor should be back pretty soon from his time off, I told you that he wanted to meet with us again sometime after he comes back. I assume this will also probably happen sometime within the next few weeks. I also hope that my dentist’s not gunna want to make extra appointments to make a new bite guard (AKA night guard) for me if I keep my six month checkup on the 3rd. He always says that I’m grinding my teeth and that I’m wearing them away, this was why I had to go in for that bonding back in December where I had some of my teeth rebuilt. I had a bite guard made for me once and haven’t wore it for a long time because it bothers me to wear it, my dentist did say though that things have changed since then and he could make me a smaller bite guard that takes up less space in my mouth. I’m not okay with the idea of wearing any bite guard, especially if I have problems sleeping that you know I have some nights.

The rest of the message will be lighter stuff, I still have yet to write about what I have to say about Dr. McKibbin’s question that I didn’t answer “why I would feel punished to have to become independent.” Even though I only use this purple colour (hex value #CC99FF) whenever I write about something that I don’t like, I’ll use it today anyway because it’s an Easter colour. My dad figured that because yesterday was his payday he brought everybody home a scratch two days ago on Thursday, he got me a BLACKJACK and another new one for me called TAX!!. I won $2 on the TAXI!...My mom said that I did better than she and my dad, neither of them won anything.

My dad told me that he saw the border lineups on yesterday’s Noon News and that there was a two and a half hour wait at the Peace Arch crossing. And at the border crossing all the way out in Abbotsford, the border lineup was backed up all the way to Highway 1 resulting in a more than two hour long wait there also. He phoned Fish World the day before we went two days ago (on Thursday) to make sure that they would be open on the next day and the girl he talked to told him that she thought they’re holiday hours which are 12 Noon to 4PM would be in effect for Good Friday, but once we walked out of Fish World after we were done there yesterday we saw that the South Beach Cafe where I told you I had planned to get my snack from was closed for Good Friday. I then said to my dad that maybe we could get one of the big Smartie cookies from the little Safeway across the street at 64th Avenue and Scott Road, and then even though I said to my dad that I wanted a Safeway cookie he then said to me that he remembers there being a SUBWAY right next door to that Safeway. We tried SUBWAY first and they didn’t have any Smartie cookies in yesterday, but they had the kind of Chocolate Chunk cookie I like which I think you know is the white cookie with the dark chips/chunks. I didn’t think I wanted another Chocolate Chunk cookie after getting one from Save-On when I was out with my mom the week before so we left SUBWAY and went next door to Safeway. My dad was going to get a small coffee for himself when we were in SUBWAY, but he didn’t bother because I didn’t get any cookies there so he got a coffee from the Starbucks inside Safeway. I think my dad prefers SUBWAY coffee to Starbucks because SUBWAY’S isn’t as strong. He gets his coffee mild whenever he buys from Starbucks even though he finds that their mild is also quite stronger than SUBWAY’s coffee, but he did say that he’s okay with a strong Starbucks coffee if he has trouble waking up. I got just one Smartie cookie from Safeway even though I get two cookies whenever I go to SUBWAY but the Safeway ones are twice the size of the Smarite ones I had gotten in the past from the South Beach Cafe, and my dad took his time reaching to the back of the bin because he saw one back there that had three green smarties. Once we walked out of Safeway, we noticed a lottery kiosk outside Safeway where my dad cashed in my two dollars that I had one on my TAXI! scratch the day before. He got me a BLACKJACK and another TAXI!. This lottery booth was something different, I had never saw one outside before. I also told my dad after we left the kiosk that I noticed they had chocolate bars there and if I would’ve known about that lottery booth before we went into Safeway I could’ve got a chocolate bar for my snack instead of the cookie. Now I know for if I’m in that area another day in the future when the South Beach Cafe is not open, those are the same chocolate bars that I buy when I walk over to the corner store. My dad said that they probably also sell cigarettes there at that lottery booth. We got home only three minutes after 2PM which you know is the time when I prefer to have my afternoon snack most days, so I waited til we got home to have my cookie and I had my cranberry juice to drink with that.

At Fish World I traded 18 platies in total, they gave me a dollar for each fish so I therefore got a $18 store credit. I still had a $15 credit from the day I told you I traded in those three angelfish a few weeks before Christmas and I hadn’t bought anything from that store since then, so as of now I have $33 in total...That’s more than $30 worth of store credit. I’m almost out of frozen fish treats, but Fish World didn’t have the right stuff that I like to feed my fish. Other than that, we took a look at the fish when we were in Fish World and they didn’t have too much for fish. I then said to my dad that maybe they’re due for a shipment. A couple hours after we got home, my dad moved 13 of the bigger bettas up to the ten gallon tank that we took the platies out of and there are still a lot more than that amount for the number of smaller bettas that remain in the five gallon. Some of the 13 bigger ones that he moved now have bits of blue on them. Also, my dad flushed the albino corey catfish this morning that was in the ten gallon with my adult plaites. This use to be one of the two albino coreys that was in my 38 gallon, but my dad didn’t tell me until today that he moved it a few months ago because it’s fins had dissolved. I guess that maybe coreys don’t do as well in salt. We need to have salt sprinkled in the 38 gallon where my big mollies are because mollies require a bit more salt than most other types of freshwater fish. He also flushed one of my female swords that had died yesterday in my 32 gallon. Speaking about the swords, he plans to maybe put one of my other female swords in the breeding cage on my six gallon fish tank which is the one upstairs in my bedroom where the baby mollies were.

After we got home yesterday afternoon, my mom went out to look for a birthday card for Mac. I figured that most of the bigger stores would probably be too busy and crowded for me on Good Friday, so my mom went by herself. She first looked at the few cards they had in the Save-On at South Point but she didn’t find anything there so she then walked over to the “Carlton Cards” store at South Point where she found a neat car one for Mac and she also picked up a card for her and me to give to my dad for his birthday. We also figured that it would be easier to buy a card for Mac this year, hopefully next year there won’t be as much going on so that we could maybe grab a frame from "The Dog the Cat and the Rat” video and then try to make Mac a card for his next birthday. And we probably won’t give Mac a present with his card, taking him out for a meal will probably be enough. This will be your first time at Moxie's. After my past experience you read about just before Christmas a few months ago, either I’ll probably get the half order of natchos or If I get the full order maybe anyone who finishes before me could snack on some of my plainer ones that don’t have cheese. The four of us could go in my mom’s Honda, you’ll probably be up front. Mac’s a big guy so he’d probably be better behind you and I’ll sit behind my dad. Lately I’ve been sitting in the front when I go in the car just my parents and myself. Whenever Mac’s with me and it’s either just my mom or my dad with us, I usually ride upfront. And whenever Mac goes with us and both my parents come along, these are the times when my mom gets to sit in the front while Mac and I sit in the back together. Sometimes though when Kris is with us and just one of my parents comes along, we’ll sometimes let him sit upfront because he can fight for the frontseat.

My mom’s first stop after she left the house when you were with me two days ago on Thursday was the Peninsula Village Safeway when she saw that they still didn’t have any Easter cakes and when she found out that their cake decorator was off sick. She then walked across to London Drugs because I was on my last pack of Gas-X, but they were out. She looked in the South Point Save-On yesterday afternoon before she looked at cards but she couldn’t find the right kind of Gas-X there either, she thought that maybe they stopped making that kind so she got me some new stuff to try called “Ovol GAS.” After Peninsula Village two days ago, she thought that she’d go to one of the casinos for a while, either the one in Langley or the one in Cloverdale but first she tried the big Safeway out by Willowbrook Mall and they didn’t have any Easter cakes. She found that Langley was busy once she got out that way two days ago so she then decided on the casino in Cloverdale after she tried the Willowbrook Safeway. After the casino, she got the cake from the Safeway in Ocean Park and then she came home. I think I like the cake that my mom found two days ago better than the one I sent you an image of last Sunday (the 16th), the one my mom found is more colourful. The one my mom found also has jelly beans on it as well as little candies shaped like bunnies and chickens. There were only two round double-layer chocolate Easter cakes at the Ocean Park Safeway and my mom got the only one that had green on it, the other chocolate one had blue where mine has green and there was also a lot more round double-layer white Easter cakes than chocolate ones at that same Safeway location. I even took a couple pictures of that cake two days ago after you left which I’ll send to you once I download them, you can then compare this cake to the image I already sent you and we’ll see whether or not you agree with me that this one’s the better looking cake. I also took a picture of what you made two days ago in our downstairs computer room, the ping pong ball on top of the cat spring. You thought that it wouldn’t hold together that long, and it’s still holding up right now.

My mom also got some of the Safeway coleslaw that I like from the deli section when she was at the Ocean Park Safeway two days ago, I had some of that for supper later that same day (for my supper on Thursday) with some leftover Shake 'n Bake chicken and a hot cross bun. I had some Bugles for my evening snack last night with a can of “ice UP” to drink and I plan to have some of the Easter HERSHEY’S EGGIES that I got in bulk for my evening snack tonight. After not having them for a long time I started having Bugles for my snacks again about a year ago when Carol told me that her nephew, Rory who also went to High School at Semiahmoo Secondary when I went there, likes them. Remember that Rory’s Carol’s ex-husband’s sister’s youngest son and they’re the “pirate family” because everybody’s first name starts with the letter R. And I don’t like the Nacho Cheese flavour Bugles, just the Original ones.

I get possession of my Easter stuff as soon as mom brings it home and she doesn’t keep it from me until Easter Sunday though I don’t eat it until I get around to it even if it’s not til after Easter Sunday. And don’t forget that I’ll only want to eat so much of my Easter stuff instead of eating it all at once because you know what my stomach can handle. I remember you said that you ate as many as ten or twelve Hershey kisses, well I told you in the message that I sent you on Wednesday Feb.20,2008 that I had ten the day before and I said in the message I sent you on Sunday Mar.2,2008 that I had nine. This didn’t upset my stomach either of those times. And remember I told you that my grandma (my dad’s mom) gave me a marshmellow filled egg last year at Easter, I still ate it even though it wasn’t my preference.

I still drink Coke the odd time after I switched to 7UP when I started having the stomach problems which I detailed all in the message I sent you on Saturday Mar.8,2008, and keep in mind too that I also like to drink Lime Crush the odd time:/font>

> ...until after I told you two days ago that Coke use to be my favorite kind of pop until I switched to 7UP a few years
> ago when I started having the stomach problems. And before then, I use to always get a milkshake to drink with
> my meal whenever I went out for meals but now I just get 7UP with my meals and have milkshakes for separate
> afternoon snacks after learning that a milkshake with a meal seemed like a bit too much for my stomach to handle
> at once...

I also use to eat Barbeque, Ketchup, and “Salt & Vinegar” chips but haven’t had any of those for a long time. And I think that Lay's was my preferred brand for Barbeque chips.

Remember you told me one of the last times I saw you that the “Keg Restaurant” also has a slice of chocolate cake on their dessert menu, well I like things that are plainer and not too fancy. I know that I like White Spot's “Chocolate Passion Cake” and Safeway's “Triple Chocolate Torte” while my mom doesn’t know whether or not the Keg’s chocolate cake would be more of a fancier one.

When my mom was driving down 24th Avenue two Mondays ago (on the 10th of this month) on her way to Peninsula village after she left the casino in Cloverdale, she saw that they’re also building apartment buildings along there on the same side of Highway 99 that Home Depot’s on. And she saw that they’re coming along quite a ways on building the Wal-Mart, but they haven’t seem to have come as far on most of the other stores.

Also, my mom read me in the newspaper on Wednesday Mar.5,2008 that the Christophers store that use to be in Hillcrest mall not far from the bakery will soon be opening its new location in Ocean Park. My mom thought that maybe the reason why it took so long after they closed their old location and before they open there new one could be because they might’ve had a tough time with regulations. Again, this Christophers store has no relation with the one in Scottsdale Mall. Neither of these stores have more than one location, they’re two different stores that both have the same name “Christophers.” My mom also read in the paper sometime within the last few weeks that the little Hallmark Cards store in Ocean Park will soon be closing and that the dentist office next door to them will then be expanding into where the Hallmark was.

My mom heard Izzy in the sewing room a couple more times yesterday jumping up at that spot of sunlight on the wall again. And remember I said this about Chloe in the message I sent you on Thursday Mar.13,2008, well she seemed interested in my supper again when I was having it two days ago (on Thursday)...she even jumped up on the big coffee table in our living room at the time two days ago where she then tried to sniff my plate of food that was on my TV table:

> ...Speaking about Chloe, she was on the loveseat last Sunday night (the 9th) until my mom came in the room and
> dished up my supper onto my TV table. When my mom was dishing up the supper, Chloe thought it was for her.
> Once I sit down to eat after that, Chloe puts her front feet up on the couch next to me for a few seconds while her
> back feet were still on the floor. Chloe doesn’t usually act like this...

Remember when you were here two days ago you heard my cousin Jenny cough when she left a message on our answering machine. My mom says that Jenny seems to always have a cold lately.

My grandpa (my dad’s dad) phoned my dad last night. He said that they (my grandparents) now have their land phone service through Shaw and no longer through Telus, they can now phone local to South Surrey all the way from out in the valley. He also said that my cousin Michael who moved to Edmonton last month put his house in Nanaimo up for sale, I guess they changed their mind about renting it out and are just gunna get rid of it. And I guess his kids will be starting at their new school in Edmonton after the Easter break.

My dad took my mom’s Honda in this morning for its servicing that it needs after every 6 thousand kilometers. The servicing didn’t take too long so he then went to the Bell store in Willowbrook Mall to see if he can find a less expensive plan for his cell phone. He phoned my mom after he left the mall to let her know that he was going to then go to the Cascades casino for a bit and that he would be home in time for lunch. My mom then said to him quote “or supper.” I closed the garage door for him when he came home an hour after he phoned my mom, I also closed it for him two days ago when he pulled in only a few seconds after mom left to get the mail which was only a few minutes after you left, and I closed the garage door for my mom when she came home yesterday after card shopping. My dad saw my mom leaving to get the mail as he was pulling in two days ago BTW.

When I talked to Mac on the phone last Wednesday (the 19th) he told me that he got a new Canon All-in-One printer/fax/scanner/copier. At first he just had a Canon Three-in-One printer/scanner/copier, but I guess the tack that holds his calendar somehow came out of or got thrown out of the wall and landed in the printer head. The scanner and copier would still work after this, but no longer the printer so he took his Three-in-One into Staples and he got the next model up. He said that he wouldn’t use the fax but again it’s the next model up after the Three-in-One he had. I guess that hardly anybody uses a fax anymore and that most people these days are switching over to E-mail. He also told me that now when you go into Staples, all you’ll see for printers are the All-in-Ones and it’s now getting harder to find just the single standalone printer like what we have both upstairs and downstairs. I guess now they’re phasing out on the single printers. The printer that I have downstairs right now is a Canon i550 that I’ve now had for five years and I’m hoping that it will last me for at least a couple more years. When it does go, I hope to buy my first All-in-One. It should hopefully take up less space on my desk because I’ll have the printer and the scanner in one instead of both things taking up more space on my desk. Mac also told me when I talked to him on the phone that same day that his friend, Ben, who works for a computer company in Langley came over and upgraded Mac’s computer. Mac then told me that Ben who’d been driving an old Ford Oldsmobile for quite a long time just bought a new Honda Civic and his company that he works for pays him to have advertising put on his new car, so Mac says that if you see a black Honda Civic driving around South Surrey with ads for a computer company and the guy driving looks really big when he’s in it...that’s Ben. Ben and me were in a few classes together when we were in High School BTW.

I remember when you were here two days ago you read in the paper that now’s the right time to buy a new car. I also remember you told me that you had already clicked on my link to the “Mercury Milan” and thought that it was a nice-looking car. I thought it looked like a nice car too when I saw that image, but I didn’t want to jump the gun and say that before seeing it in person. You were also wondering how much it costs and if it was an expensive car. Maybe that’s something to lookup sometime online, and if you look this up sometime and find out that it is too expensive for you then maybe just don’t get the deluxe version...Hint, if you don’t get the deluxe model there’s a good chance that you probably won’t have a sunroof. And you said that Dianne would be jealous if you did get this new car and if your Camry was the vehicle that you ended up getting rid of, so the two of you would therefore keep trading vehicles. Once the day program does finally get started whenever this may happen, you’d probably come to my place in the car every Monday and Thursday because the van could take more passengers. I don’t know if your van already has a sunroof, but if it does and if you don’t get the deluxe Mercury Milan...Then you could bring the new car on the days that you see me and let Di have the car on the days that you see Scott because you told me that Scott likes the sunroof.
Also from what I could see in that image on Wikipedia, it looks like that Mercury Milan might be a good alternative for me next time my mom needs a new car and if for some reason I don’t like the Honda Accord that’s out at that time as much as I like the one that we have now. A few other alternatives that I have considered besides the Honda Accord include:
-the Chevrolet Cavalier because my dad got one as a courtesy car one time a few years ago, I also sat in the front passenger seat of this car while it was parked in our garage and I thought that I sat pretty much the same in it as I do in the front seat of my mom’s Honda compared to the way I might sit in some other cars though my mom did say that the Honda Accord has a better review.
-the Buick, it’s a nice roomy car. My grandparents (my dad’s parents) now drive a 2001 Buick Century which they bought off a lady who lives in an apartment in a different tower of their complex after her husband passed away, before that they were driving a 1998 Mercury Mystique. Now you know that I’ve been in a Mercury before. Also, my dad rented a Buick a few years ago when he took Kiernan up to the cabin. Again, he’s David’s ex-girlfriend’s son. I saw inside that Buick when my dad rented it and that one was nice and roomy inside. I forget which kind of Buick that was though. Speaking about the cabin, my mom was wondering if you’re a good fisherman and if fishing’s one of your interests. If so, would you maybe like to go with my dad if he decides to go up to the cabin again this summer? I could put together a short video of the cabin to send to you if you want me to.
-And of course I probably also wouldn’t mind the Toyota Prius.
-I should also tell you my mom’s opinion about the PT Cruiser. When my dad rented that one a year and a half ago, my mom also sat in it while it was parked in our garage. She said that she would never want to drive one of those things because she found it harder to see out of. Now you know that none of us three like the PT Cruiser.

Remember Play Dome was held at BC Place all last week while the kids were out of school, the large Indoor Carnival with rides etc. My parents and me took my friend, Mac, with us when we went to a car show at that same place (BC Place) not long before we bought my mom’s 2001 Honda when we were looking to buy a new car.

I told my mom that you called your Camry a beater when I saw you last Monday (the 17th) she then said that it must be starting to show its age. Don’t feel bad, I told you previously that Carol had been driving an old 1992 Ford for many years before she leased the 2007 Toyota Yaris. She nicknamed her old Ford the “Whalley car” also meaning “welfare car.

By the way, our old 1986 Honda Accord was the vehicle that my cousin, David, used to kill himself. A few days before Christmas Day 2005, he parked the car in the loading bay at his business. He then shut all the doors and started the car’s engine, and then he died from carbon monoxide poisoning. When he first started up his lighting business, he was in a different location around the corner from the one with the loading bay for the first few years before the other one became available. He moved when it became available because the first location didn’t have a loading bay. My mom’s pretty sure there was a guy named Brian who worked at “Show-time Lighting” when David worked there in the late 1990s though she’s not 100% sure. This was back when they were in the same Surrey complex where David had his two locations and before David first started his own business. They since moved to Burnaby after David stopped working for them. Anyway, could this have been the place in that complex where you said you had rented lights? And my mom says that if David could’ve toughed it out, he’d probably be doing a good business about now. Also, there is a Macs convenience store in that same area at 96th Avenue and 152nd Street which has a SUBWAY in it though I think it mostly just has the sandwiches and not everything a regular SUBWAY has...I guess this might be called an express SUBWAY.

Also on our way to our meeting at the FVMH that same day (March 14th), just before we got to that area you noticed that we were in Scott’s territory when we came to 88th Avenue and 152nd Street. I remember the time before that when we drove through there in February you told me that nobody who lives on 88th has a driveway and you have to enter Scott’s place from the back alley. This is the same as my friend Mac’s house which is on King George Highway, he doesn’t have a driveway in his front yard and you also have to enter his place from the back alley. You also asked me when we drove through there last week if
I had ever been inside Scott’s Safeway there before even though you already know my dad has a few times. I’ll tell you that I have been in there a few times, my mom sometimes takes me in there after my dentist appointments to use the washroom. One thing I don’t like about my dentist’s office is that you have to go behind the counter and then passed the chairs to get to the washroom. I use to always have my dentist appointments at the same time as my dad, but for the last few years him and I have been separately because I remember a few times when my dad went there with us he sounded a little reluctant to make an extra stop for me after the dentist. It almost felt like the same as if he had actually said “either use the washroom at the dentist or don’t go at all.”

Remember you said when I last saw you two days ago that you use to always walk by the “Fin-Omenal Fish” store next to Shoppers Drug Mart at No. 2 Road and Blundell in Richmond when you use to work in that area but you just never went in the fish store. They sold a few other kinds of tropical fish too, but they specialized in bettas. I use to go to that store with my dad all the time, that store was where we got our microworm cultures the first time when I had baby bettas about four and a half years ago. And after they were in that location, they were on Westminster Highway for a while. I assume this was probably because their rent was less expensive at this location than the cost of rent for their previous location at No. 2 Road and Blundell, but they still didn’t do a good enough business so they had to close their business not long after they moved. And then the two ladies who ran Fin-Omenals started working at “Roger’s Aquatic and Pet Supplies” formerly Perky's Pets in New Westminster not long after they moved from NewWest to Scott Road in Surrey not far North of 80th Avenue. Not long after I got my second batch of baby bettas a few months ago, my dad had to go to someone’s house in Richmond and buy a microworm culture from a guy who lives there that grows them.

And another thing I remember you said when you were here two days ago was that you remember the time before when you saw me (last Monday the 17th) we had fun singing Billy Joel tunes when we were in the computer room. Here’s what I know about some of the other tunes you were singing that same day:

• I believe that song "Release Me" that you sang a spoof of that day (Monday) is an Engelbert Humperdinck song.

• When you were singing “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” which I know is the number one 1961 hit for The Tokens, you sounded like Pumbaa from “The Lion King" when you sang “A wimoweh, a-wimoweh a-wimoweh, a wimoweh...” Now I know that you can do a Pumbaa accent(and I also now know that you can do pump impressions). And did you know that Timon and Pumbaa did a duet of “The Lion Sleeps Tonight?” This could possibly be found on YouTube, I also asked this about the other song that they sang together in the message I sent you last Sunday (the 16th):

> ...And I wonder if there’s a video on YouTube of Timon singing “Yummy, Yummy, Yummy...I Got Bugs In My Tummy.”

• After you sang “The Lion Sleeps Tonight,” I believe next you sang “Iko Iko.” And I believe it was Amy Holland’s version of this song that was played during the closing credits after the movie “K-9 (1989)” which I saw a few years ago. I also saw the sequel “K-911 (1999).”

• And then you sang a few songs by Neil Sedaka including “Breaking Up Is Hard to Do” and “Laughter in the Rain.” Neil Sedaka is another one of the artists that I like and I have a few of his cassettes.

• You also asked me that same day if I ever heard the song “Seventy-Six Trombones.” If you remember that Microsoft Word document I sent you way back on Friday Nov.9,2007 where it lists all the song titles that we were putting into my grandparents’ home movies, that’s one of the songs that we’ve got in there so far so of course I heard that song. And if I remember correctly, I think you heard it one time with me when I showed you the work that we had done so far on the home movies...I do know that your memory’s not as good as mine.

We also talked about a lot of different movies when you were here last Monday (on the 17th), but I’ll save what I have to tell you about those for another message. This message is now eight pages long plus I should probably wait to send you more links until after you look at all of the ones that I already sent you. I didn’t write the “did you spot the leprechaun with his St Patrick's day hat” below that image of the green St Patrick's day dog, it was already written underneath that same image on the site where I got it from which is
http://guy-sports.com/humor/saints/saint_patrick_dogs.htm .
And I’m still trying to find a clouds background to put behind that image we were working on of Aladdin’s dog. I took the clouds background off our Windows 95 CD which you can get from the attached ZIP file but it’s smaller than the image of the dog plus this clouds background doesn’t “repeat itself as a pattern” if you know what I mean while choosing a background for your Windows Desktop you can choose to either “Center“ it or “Tile” it. I was hoping we could find one that repeats itself when “Tile” is chosen. There might be such a clouds background on the CD for an older version of Windows 95, but I don’t have a version that’s that old. Do you have an older version of Win95 or know somebody who might have one just so we could copy the one image from that CD?

My mom just said a few minutes ago that she wonders if you’re now doing your final countdown to the day when Scott goes home.

See you on Monday at 1PM, and if I don’t E-mail you again before,

Happy Easter!

-Neil

P.S. This is the best I could find for images of Easter cats, and I’m disappointed that I couldn’t find any Easter cat smilies (again AKA emoticons).

In addition to the following images, check out this image on Flickr photo sharing website.

This one looks like Izzy in an Easter basket.

Remember that image “smartie dog” we scanned a while back and then I sent it to you...Now we have “smartie cat.”
