Well, I guess now we know what happens when we combine three messages into one after first me
only getting a couple hours of sleep that one night and then you getting stuck with a cold. And
I think your reply was probably the longest message you had ever sent me.
> ...I think we can talk about a lot of the things on Thursday if you like...
Sounds good.
My mom just doesn’t sound too enthused about the idea of me sending anything to Carol for
Valentines Day. We’ll probably have our snack at my place tomorrow afternoon since I still got a
lot of stuff left to eat up. I’ll have a green bag of the allan gummies (the Gummie
Berries flavour) and my mom got some Ocean’s Spray cranberry juice when she was at Save-On two
days ago. I told you that store brands are usually less expensive than name brands, but the
Ocean’s Spray was on sale so she got that. You saw me eat the blue bag last week with orange and
black gummies, and now tomorrow you should see me
eat the green bag with green and red gummies. My mom saw the weather on TV and they’re
predicting either wind, sun, and/or rain for tomorrow, so we’ll see what it’s like when tomorrow
actually comes whether or not we go for a walk
before we have my snack. I’ll put together another scanning pile later today that we could do
after my snack tomorrow. It will probably just be another pile of mostly newspaper clippings
though because most of the calendar pictures are too big to fit on the scanner. I could do the
few that will fit sometime to save me a bit of money. My dad says that he could probably scan in
a lot of the bigger ones for me at his work. And as for the few that might be too big to fit on
his scanner at work, I could pay with my own money to have them done at some photo place. Or if
I’m not seeing my dad anymore and living with Carol by the time I’m ready to do this, I guess
I’d be okay with spending money to have all of the ones done that won’t fit on my own scanner.
Now one sentence I should have added in my previous message that you should know before you
come tomorrow:
> ...She’s too scared of me, she can’t trust me to be left alone with her ever again, and she
no longer wants anything more to
> do with me after what happened last August that separated us. I would like her to forgive me
though. A few months after
> she stopped working with me and just before I met you for the first time...
And I think it’s important that Carol knows that too in case she does read the E-mails
sometime.
> ...I realise you have a long relationship with Carol...
Yah, you got that right. She’s one of the very few people besides my parents who I’ve known
for a long time in my life so far.
> ...and you said it would be hard for you to go to the meeting without her support .
Now i'm no Carol...
> Now i'm no Carol
LOL
> ...If you don't want to ride with your Dad I could drive you if you like...
Wow, thanks for offering your support.
> ...If you'd like me to go into the meeting with you that is fine...
Sure. This sounds good.
It’s also good to hear that your meeting with them went well when you were there with Scott
and I think this idea of your’s sounds good knowing that you already know some of the people
there including Dr. Mcgibbon.
> ...I believe the WCMH is the best the province has to offer .They're a great team
and I believe their recommendations
> would be superior to an independent Psychiatrist
My mom agrees with you on that, when she read your reply she decided that it might sound
better to switch over to Dr. Mcgibbon.
You could meet us at my place next Thursday morning and then I’ll ride with you in your
Camry, either my parents could follow us or we could follow them. I assume they’ll probably take
my mom’s Honda unless we get bad weather that day. My mom suggested to me when she read your
reply that all four of us could< go in one vehicle,
but then I said to her that if we do it this way maybe you and I could go out for lunch after
the appointment. The appointment starts at 10AM and I already told you that they’d like to make the first appointment two hours, those two hours
plus another to drive over there makes it three hours gone and then I think doing lunch would be
a great idea because I know that we still have I think about three hours left of the time that
we didn’t use the week after Boxing Day. You therefore won’t need to come either Wednesday or
Friday next week and we should have you home in plenty of time if you want Scott to come over to
your place at 4PM before the dance on Valentines Day. Now regarding lunch, maybe we could eat at
the Wendy's on 152nd Street near 100th Avenue in the Guildford area. There’s also an A&W on our
left side of 152nd heading back into Surrey after Coquitlam, but first I remember the last time
when I ate at that A&W location I had to get buzzed into the washroom and second maybe we should
try and stick to a place that will be on the right side of 152nd Street if we’ll be heading
southbound. I prefer to eat at places where I don’t have to be buzzed into or don’t need to get
a key from the counter to get into the public washrooms. There’s also a White Spot on the right
side of 152nd Street just before the Wendy's, but I probably wouldn’t want to eat there that day
after I told you I had fish and chips for supper one night last week. Next Thursday’s still
another week (plus one day)
away, maybe my mom will think of some more ideas before then.
> ...One thing I'd write about now is your upcoming meeting with WCMH...
That above is an agenda for next Thursday. Maybe I could go a bit more into detail about the
meeting itself in another E-mail this coming weekend, I shouldn’t make this message too much
longer because I think you have enough reading material to last you until I see you tomorrow
especially with yesterday’s message being an extra long one. I should end this message by
telling you what I plan to have for my snack tonight and with some funny stories about my cat,
Izzy, but first though I have an update to one of the news points where I repeated myself in
yesterday’s message:
> ...There was a team from Boston that had won every game until the
Super Bowl last Sunday, it was the New York team
> that won in the end.
>
> • My mom had a phone call from my dad an hour before you came yesterday. He said that he had
to take the Pattullo
> Bridge into work yesterday morning. He normally goes Alex Fraser but there was a Ten Car Pile
Up in the tunnel, this pile
> up had closed the tunnel for a few hours yesterday morning so most people who would normally
go that way went Alex
> Fraser causing that route to back up. My mom says that icy conditions are probably to blame...
Now this story was in yesterday’s paper and my mom read in there that they’re actually saying
themselves, “icy conditions were to blame.” That was only what my mom had assumed the day
before, the first time we officially heard them say that “icy conditions are to blame” was when
my mom read it in yesterday’s paper.
My dad phoned a few minutes ago (not long after 2:30PM) to tell us that it’s snowing like
crazy where he is over in Burnaby and then he asked us if it was snowing over here. Not long
before he phoned, my mom walked over to get the mail and when she did so she saw snow mixed in
with the rain. And speaking about today’s mail, one of my mom’s magazines came in the mail just
now and there’s a picture in there that I might include in tomorrow’s scanning pile...a picture
of a cat laying on a bed.
> Hey I got your zip file as an attachment in your first long email . No attachment on the
2nd copy...
So, you got the long message twice then. Sorry about that. After I had finished
typing the long message earlier yesterday afternoon I then spent quite a while trying to figure
out why my message wouldn’t send before I decided to try removing the attachment. Before I
removed the attachment, Outlook kept telling me that “this message has not been sent” and the
message didn’t automatically save to my “Sent Items” folder until after I sent it without the
attachment. Only one copy of the long message saved<
to my “Sent Items” folder. Strange. I’m glad to hear though that you were able to get it from
the link in the< shorter message.
I had the last two Christmas-holiday shape sugar cookies for my dessert after lunch today, so
those are finally gone now. There was one left of each colour today and these are the ones that
were leftover from the day we had our pizza and Chinese supper with Mac and Kris. I had some of
the red and green Smarties (also leftover from Christmas) for my snack yesterday evening, and
after that snack there’s now enough of those left for only one snack. For my snack tonight now,
I plan to have some Old Dutch Rip-L potato chips with Nalley brand “Bacon & Onion” dip. I also
like the ranch flavour Nalley dip. And sometimes we buy the ingredients and make our own dill
dip. You should know a lot of the snacks and meals I like now, especially after reading
yesterday’s long message. If my parents have anything else to pick up when they’re out tomorrow
afternoon, maybe I’ll have them pick me up a few cashews from the bulk section at one of the
grocery stores...just enough for a couple snacks though.
Now the funny stories about Izzy:
• The box for the puzzle my mom’s currently working on was sitting open on the kitchen table
yesterday evening. A couple times yesterday evening, Izzy almost knocked the box of puzzle
pieces off the table. Imagine, that would have sent puzzle pieces all over the floor. I remember
one evening not too long after Christmas, I think this might have been Boxing Day evening when
my mom was sitting in her chair in the family room with her puzzle board on top of her legs
while she worked on her puzzle and then all of a sudden Izzy jumped up on
the puzzle board while my mom was holding it. Also
back on either Christmas Day or Boxing Day evening, my mom threw a little fuzz ball for Izzy and
it landed in my dad's chair while dad was sitting in it. The fuzz ball didn’t hit my dad though,
it just landed in his chair while he was sitting there but just not where he was sitting.
• My mom woke up this morning to find a trail of cat springs on the floor downstairs. We
assume that was probably the work of Izzy overnight.
• In addition to the two above stories, Izzy’s been attacking everyone today; my mom, Chloe,
and me. I was standing in the downstairs hallway this morning and Izzy was laying above me on
the second step down from the top of the stairs when all of a sudden Izzy pokes her head between
the rails and reaches her paw out. I knew I then had to get out of there quickly because she
might have been reaching to try and attack my head from up there.
The doorbell rang around 10:30AM this morning. My mom didn’t answer it because she saw
through the peephole in the front door that it was two men she didn’t recognize. They could have
been Jehovah's Witnesses or any type of people my mom doesn’t feel safe opening the front door
to.
And there is one more thing, talk about a Valentines Day cake.
I had originally planned for my parents to pick me up some Safeway Chinese food for my supper on
Valentines Day before I found out that my meeting would be occurring on that day so now I think
it might be better for them to get it the next day (Friday). I’d like to have the same
Safeway double-layer chocolate Valentines cake for dessert that I didn’t get to enjoy as much
when I had it with Carol at Valentines Day last year. We should probably get it at least a day
or two before Valentines Day before they start to sell out and there’s less selection, but not
too soon if I don’t want to have it until next Friday. If next Monday (the 11th) wouldn’t
be too soon, either when you come that afternoon maybe I could go with you over to the Safeway
in Peninsula Village and we could get one or if we split away from my parents after my meeting
next Thursday they might be driving by other Safeway locations wherever they end up. But don’t
forget that the day of my meeting is Valentines Day, so keep in mind that some stores might be
more likely to be sold out that day and it might be better as long as it’s okay to get it
sooner. This E-mail is now getting to be long, I’ll continue this paragraph about cakes in
another message.
See you tomorrow at 1PM.
