RE: Thoughts after ouR visit...LOL typo

Wow, John, that was the longest message you had sent me so far. And you used large size 24 font too (and in Times New Roman).

Maybe we could have another game after my snack tomorrow afternoon. My mom saw the weather on the news today and it’s predicting that tomorrow’s weather will be much like today’s. If it ends up being nice enough to go out for a walk, we could do that before my snack.

This is a coincidence...you and me were thinking exactly alike. After I sent you yesterday’s E-mail, I thought up the word “entertain” and was thinking about it all night. I was going to send it to you today, but you beat me to it.

> ...Hey I bet your mom is good at that game because she does crossword puzzles...

LOL

I wouldn’t know about that one, I never played the game with her before. The only other person I played this game with before I played it with you for the first time yesterday would have been Carol.

> ...thanks for giving me the info on skytrain...

You’re welcome.

> ...its very informative...

Now you know all about the future of skytrain and how to get around South Surrey on the bus.

I know it might not be “baker” because that’s noun for “bake.” Umm...barrister...banister

If we make it out for a walk before my snack tomorrow afternoon, I’m thinking maybe we can go across 140th Street (the busy street that you turn off of when you turn into my neighbourhood) and then we walk a little ways down 140th to a trail that we could walk on. We don’t have to take the whole trail and can turn off sooner if we want to make it a shorter walk. My dad’s booked tomorrow afternoon off work and he’s gunna take his Subaru into the dealership because he hears the window on the driver’s door making a noise. He’ll drop the Subaru to have the noise looked at and then my mom will pick him up at the dealership around 1:30. After they spend the afternoon doing stuff around Langley, my mom will drop my dad off at the dealership on her way back home. Either my dad will pick up my Chinese food after he picks up the Subaru or my mom will pick it up before she comes back home at 4:30. Either way, they don’t need to get me a donut or a cookie from Safeway to have for dessert after my Chinese food because I still got lots of the cupcakes my mom baked leftover from Christmas. Neither you, Mac, or Kris wanted any cupcakes to take home either for yourselves or anyone else who lives at you house after our Chinese and pizza supper the week before Christmas. That’s another disappointing thing about not having Carol around anymore, every time my mom made cookies or cupcakes while I knew Carol we would give Carol half the batch to take home so there wouldn’t be as much for myself to eat and they would be gone sooner. Remember, Carol has that thing for cookies, cake, and all kinds of chocolate! I said in the previous E-mail that I also have lots of chocolates and other snacks leftover from Christmas still to be eaten up.

A nurse from the “Fraser Valley Mental Health Support Team” came for a visit this morning. She asked us all kinds of questions about services we used in the past, my health (any health problems or whatever), what medications I have tried in the past and am currently on now, what schools I’ve gone to, what I do during the day, etc. The team consists of her, a physiatrist, and a behavioral specialist. Their office is in Port Coquitlam and they want me to go there and meet all three of them on Thursday Feb the 14th, Valentines Day. We’ll have to change our one visit that week to either Wednesday the 13th or Friday the 15th. Two problems with this; 1) I said to you in the previous two E-mails that I don’t like to go anywhere in Coquitlam and 2) my mom doesn’t know her way around Coquitlam very well and wants my dad to take that day off work and drive us there. I don’t like the idea of my dad driving us there because I’m still having nothing to do with my dad since what happened almost three weeks ago. I suggested to my mom that maybe he can drive her over there sometime before then while I’m with you so she could take me there, but she answered that suggestion that my dad might want to sit in on the first visit. What might have to happen could be that my mom and I could take our Honda and follow my dad there in his Subaru and then maybe he could go into work after the appointment’s over. My mom and me should be able to find our way back home know problem, it’ll just be harder for her to find the place the first time we go there. The appointment’s at 10AM that morning and they say that they’d like to make this first one approximately two hours, they also said that they always time their appointments so that they don’t occur during bridge traffic because they have lots of patients who come from this side of the Fraser river. They say that after this first appointment I’ll only be allowed to either keep seeing the physiatrist who is involved with this team and stop seeing the one I see now on Scott Road or after I see him the once the nurse and the behavioral specialist would stay involved with me while the one on Scott Road would still be my physiatrist. I have almost a month to make this decision, either keep seeing the one on Scott Road (on this side of the river) who I have a hard time understanding because she speaks with an accent or regularly drive over to Coquitlam to see this other one. I still don’t feel comfortable with having this whole assessment done in general, especially knowing the fact that Carol’s not around any longer and not there to support me makes the whole thing even harder and more uncomfortable for me. At this point, it seems now like the days when I used to live in Whalley before I moved to South Surrey were the better days.

On a more cheerful note, I have some more funny stories to tell you about Izzy, our cat:

• Remember I told you in one of the previous E-mails about Izzy jumping up on the cat post while Chloe was already on there? Next, the two cats are sitting together on the post and then Chloe pushes Izzy off the post. Well today almost exactly the same thing happened, Izzy jumped up while Chloe was already there and then they sat on the post together not for very long before this time Izzy pushes Chloe off the post.

• My mom was doing a load of laundry today and when she had the lid open on the washing machine, Izzy was sitting up on the washer looking down inside the open lid.

It’s almost a quarter after 9 now. I usually have my snack at 9PM and I didn’t have it yet so I should go do that now. Normally, I’m not on the computer after supper but things have changed since what happened just a few days after Christmas. The only times I’ve been on the computer since then were to send E-mails to you and receive E-mails from you. I haven’t gotten out for a walk since that day and have confined myself to the couch other than the times when I’m sending you E-mail, so hopefully the weather will be nice tomorrow and a walk might help my stomach. See you then.
