John,

You shouldn’t ask me if I’d rather you phone my mom instead of E-mailing me whenever you want to take a day off and you wouldn’t have asked me that yesterday if there weren’t any problems. Yes I was p*ssed off (or as you might describe it, perturbed) yesterday when I said to you that I wasn’t. And again, you E-mailing me about taking days off wouldn’t be a problem if my mom wouldn’t start an argument about it. If I didn’t tell her until the next day (Saturday) that I had an E-mail from you, she wouldn’t know until then that you would like to take off that date and I would’ve got the evening off on Friday. If my mom had thought about it and she suggested I do so, I could’ve just sent you a simple one word response on that evening in which I say something like either “yes” or “okay” but instead she had to remain unflexible after I had already said to her a couple of times that I’d do it “tomorrow” (Saturday). And again, she didn’t even confront me about this right when I showed her your E-mail on Friday...she stopped me a couple hours later just when I was about to go up the stairs for my shower. Now, when I went to talk to my mom yesterday after you left to tell her that I wasn’t comfortable when you asked me if I’d rather you phone her instead of you E-mailing me, she jumped back and said that I scared her. I thought that I had dealt with her reasonably. And please stop saying that these little disagreements between she and myself are in the past and a re over with once they have actually happened, she’s the one who made a big deal out of it after I simply told her that I didn’t feel like it at the time but I would take care of it.

On another note, my stomach is still upset. I got only four hours of sleep last night and I had a messy toot at 7AM, but I didn’t get my pajama bottoms dirty this time. Also a tree trimming crew came out front at about Nine. They were louder than any of the outside noises that I heard while in bed last week and they stayed for a good hour and a half this morning getting rid of the burnt hedge in Reg’s front yard. Then after they finally left, the landscaping guys showed up who do the yardwork next door at Marvin and Marjoree’s at this time every week.

Also, I don’t know about doing the walk to the Alex Fraser from your place one day. And it wouldn’t be the first time when I bring my snack with us if we did do so, Larry and I took our snacks to Deas Island last Tuesday and we had them in the park. Larry has plans for us tomorrow, he’s taking me to Central City Mall...he wants to show me the “Craving For A Game” store that’s in there. He told me that they’re almost the only store at which you can sit there and actually try out the games before you decide whether or not you want to buy them.
